Democracy is designed for corruption, and should be abandoned.
The amount of times I've seen people be told this statement and be immediately baffled and try to retort, but then when they think about it deep down something clicks deep in their framework that we are truly living already in a corrupt system.
Politicians in democracies are incentivized to lie, cheat and maneuever their way to the top, get their position in the sun for a while and then dip out with zero consequences to their actions. We are not passing "The torch" so to speak but instead passing on an ever increasing debt of responsibility onto the next leader and the population in general.
This corruption it causes destroys the moral fibers of society overtime, we become jaded and start losing faith in the government. Many people today don't even bother voting, they know it is a farce, it is a huge waste of time to expect meaningful change; as politicans arent held to standards that would force them to comply with their own promises.
Society should be run by experts, elected in the field by fellow experts, people with actual know-how, with incentive to actually build the country for their children and futures. Not for personal gain or maintaining status for so many years or so.
