Does anybody know how long it takes for discord to work on your appeal? i got randomly banned due to “child safety”???

To add context, my account was banned over a year ago, and I took the steps to safely ban evade. I used a VPN, I used Vesktop, I used a completely different email. How do I resolve this? Was I banned?

i lost access to my discord account but it gets unbanned in a month? and my account is also at risk because of the same malicious conduct (more info abt this, i got hacked by a infostealer, decided to change my password and add 2FA to my account, went on to discord support to get my violation removed and they said "hell nah" like they always do, now my account is 1 month banned

Finally managed to get a human to review the ticket for the child abuse ban, but still, it's not enough. No response to my last message, and now it's marked as Solved... So even if a human reviews the ticket, it completely depends on which agent you get - literally Support Roulette. Otherwise, 3 of my other tickets are just marked as Solved immediately without even a response; this is the only one that had some chance. Should I open a new one now and try again for the 5th time, or give up?

Also wtf is a grid ban anyways? I heard it's got to do with checker pattern [ hence the ' grid ' name ] but I'm still extremely confused... also would things like QR codes trigger it? And how sensitive is the whole thing? Like what counts as bankable and what doesn't?

For context, I had sent a Geometry Dash screenshot of a simple level in the editor to a friend and my account was falsely flagged for Child Safety and set to "Limited" then later marked as "Suspended".

Should I be worried about losing access to my account someday? I am trying my best to send support tickets right now, but I keep getting met with automated responses.

I’m a FNAF fangame developer who relies on Discord for communication. I’m currently managing 2 projects and helping out on another one, so Discord is a VERY vital platform for me.

Last night I sent some game textures I created in one of the servers I’m in and was immediately hit with a child safety ban. The textures in question include a checkerboard pattern so I’m assuming that’s what set off the grid detection. I’ve included a screenshot from one of my friends of the same exact textures I sent in another server so you can see that this is 100% a wrongful ban.

I genuinely NEED this account back so badly. I’m in communication with so many of my peers on that account for so many projects I’m involved with. I really don’t want to ban evade and alternatives aren’t really the best solution for me. I’m sure I could get some of my teams or friends to move over but certainly not all of them.

I’ve submitted an appeal and requested a review of the ban, but that was last night so I doubt anyone has seen it yet. I’ve also been tweeting at and messaging them on Twitter, my friends have been doing the same. I’m so insanely upset and infuriated by this whole situation. Discord shouldn’t get away with this, this needs to be made right. Especially with how many people this seems to be affecting.

Anyway, here are some questions I have. Should I continue sending messages on my support ticket? Or start new ones? Am I less likely to get this resolved because it’s the weekend? How long should I expect to wait until this is resolved, if at all? Is there something I can do that I haven’t already done that typically gives people a better chance at getting this resolved quicker? I’ve heard that Discord is aware of this issue and is trying to resolve it for people.

As fucking frustrated as I am at this it helps slightly to know I’m not the only one this is happening to. Misery loves company I guess!

I got my account fucked from (presumably) the shitty AI stuff, and I havent been told why. It pisses me off enough ive been banned, but the notification also has conflicting information. It says permanent ban, but also that restrictions only last until the 12th. Anyone able to help clear up whats actually going on? I have already submitted an appeal.

You know, I'm not quite sure how much clearer I could be but... I'm pretty sure I'm not asking for an appeal... 3rd ticket as well (my appeal was denied but the violation is false as I got picked up for reporting someone spamming the n word!)

Hello all, I dunno if anyone will see this post but I wanted to come and ask about the recent wave of permabans. My account has not been banned or suspended, for the record, but I want to be as safe as humanly possible.

So, I’m an artist, and I mainly do my art on notebook paper which I then photoedit a bit to make it grayscale before showing it to friends on Discord. This is prooobably a silly question, but does anyone know if that sort of thing might trip the ban hammer? I’m aware the situation is still unfolding and I don’t think Discord has made any official statements, but better safe than sorry. Attached are examples of the art I mean.

A little update on one of my tickets, I managed to get this individual named Harry to respond to one of my tickets, I'm wondering if this is another bot or a human agent
