I found this book because it was assigned for my book club and I am stuck with this book. If you like The Ruins there are some definite similarities but I think the author tried to pack too much into the book. Like I think where the book shines is having this group of (plug and play) college students struggle against the forest, but the author needed to give an explanation of why this forest is scary and it drags everything down.
I gave it a 6 out of 10. Though I have to admit that I love dumb horror especially with the college students trope.
