So I use my phone a ton for work (traveling) and mint has been AWESOME. Coming from Visible+pro I'm getting better coverage and speeds in my area (Louisiana) and for the price of bundling Minternet and Phone for $45 is an amazing deal! I have experienced absolutely ZERO slow downs/congestion. I am very satisfied!

Hello, I have been using Mint mobile for the last four years. I chose annual plan. I was charged $261 today for upcoming year. I tried to cancel auto pay from PayPal but was unable to do so. I am out of the US and won't be using the service. Please refund.

Anyone having network issues? I'm currently in southeast Tennessee and am not able to make / receive calls, texts, and no data. Device is showing full bars on either 5G or LTE, but nothing seems to be transmitting. I don't see any outages reported online, so I'm stumped.

​I need a manual over-the-air device unlock for my phone. My account has been active on a 12-month prepaid plan for 10 months, exceeding the 60-day requirement.Customer Resource Specialist refused to unlock it after I provided all requested information.

I and my parents both have annual 17 GB plans. Mine renews in May and theirs in June. We want to consolidate to a single family plan (probably me joining theirs) and upgrade to Unlimited.

Firstly, if we were to do that now, would they have to pay full-price for a new plan mid-cycle, or are they prorated for the remainder of this year?

Secondly, how do I transfer my number from my current plan to theirs? I assume I wouldn't get a refund for the remainder of my plan.

Thirdly, am I understanding correctly that for three lines Unlimited, it would be a flat $360/year? Or is it more for additional lines? (They currently pay the same as me even though I have one line and they have two, so I'm confused on whether the price scales per line on the annual contract.)

Edited to add: My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S21 5G (specific model number: SM-G99IU) that I bought through Mint around January 2023. Based on all of the responses, it seems like I'm missing something about my phone and compatibility. But despite me checking if my phone is compatible (Mint's website says it is, their customer support says it isn't)...so then is it a compatibility issue? How do I know buying a new one that claims to be compatible on their website will be?

I've been with Mint Mobile since 2022, using a phone I purchased through them, with 0 issues. Then 3 weeks ago, I lose service with a NO SIM message-this was when everybody seemed to be having outages. All the fixes I saw online (airplane mode, reset network, restart) didn't work. Customer service did troubleshooting with me and eventually switched me to an esim which fixed the issue. Then about a week later, I lose service again. Customer service goes through all the troubleshooting with me and then tells me to give it 48 hours-there seems to be an outage. At some point my phone works again, then stops again. I again try all the things and after a few days talk to customer service. They try to take me through troubleshooting again then confirm that my phone is now only partially compatible due to the recent updates to T Mobile towers. They say I can buy a new compatible phone as they cannot refund me. When I go to check if my current phone is compatible, it is. So what's to say that a new phone wont show as compatible online but then simply isn't? I am unable to use data, make calls or receive texts (unless connected to wifi) and they refuse to refund me. I paid for the whole year (around $360) in May and I'm just shit out of luck.

Obviously I'm disappointed and upset. Posting this as a caution to other and to let off some steam.

My wife lost her phone on Saturday. It’s physically unrecoverable.

We contacted Mint Mobile through chat that same afternoon to recover her service on a replacement phone. Mint opened an identity-verification case, but the verification failed in part because the process depended on access to the phone/number we were trying to recover. Email didn't work as it was linked to the number as well.

We tried again the next day. A second verification ticket was opened and was also closed within about a day as “verification failed.” They will ask you to jump through hoops within the chat to prove your identity, by asking questions that would take some research or just a really good memory to answer correctly. I guess we failed the test, with no idea of the consequences, and no follow through on their part.

Now Mint is telling us we are not allowed to attempt verification again for 30 days.

To be clear, we are not asking Mint to bypass security or simply take our word for it. We are asking for an alternate secure way for the legitimate subscriber to prove ownership.

The consequences of a "failed verification" were never explicitly clear in any of our earlier conversations. This is failure of policy, and a failure of a reasonable approach to customer service. I suppose you really do get what you pay for.

I was an advocate. I will now jump through a bunch of other hoops to move to another plan. That's the only option we are currently being given.

I want to transfer my T-Mobile number onto my current Mint plan, replacing my Mint number.

I have an active Mint plan on one phone(A). I want to keep that plan, but replace my Mint number with my T-Mobile number, and use it on a different phone(B). Can I port my T-Mobile number into my existing Mint line?

Is this possible without buying a new plan?

I ordered a new phone and plan through Mint on the 23rd of last month and after a week when checking my order status, the website told me there was no information currently available. I set up my phone plan through Affirm and have already made the down payment of 200+ dollars and my first payment is due on the 25th of this month.

Contacted support and after a lengthy conversation of them gathering information I was told my order would be "expedited". Received an email from a customer resource expert telling me of the updated "expedited" status but no other information was given about why my order hasn't been shipped yet, or how long it may be before the shipping info changes. It's now another week and a day later I still have no updates.

Read up on it and saw a few people in the same situation and they were suggested to cancel and reorder, but in doing the down payment for Affirm, I have no interest in doing that. I'm hoping that from my research, the phone just isn't in stock, even though when ordering it on the website I was told it was in stock.

I'll take the help I can get because I really do not want to reach out to speak to another customer service agent again. Thanks in advance!

Recently, we had a phone stop receiving SMS texts. It can send them, and everything else works, but no receiving. This is obviously a problem since so many two factor authentication codes come from texts.

It last worked about two weeks ago. Since then, it has been tried in Kansas, Missouri, and several places in Iowa, so it is not tower related, like Mint support keeps saying.

We also have two phones both on Mint, and the other one works just fine.

Anyone encountered this?

impulsively bought the new iphone through mint which i got with the 6-month $10 unlimited plan. i am currently on month 1 of my 3-month unlimited plan and i should have double checked if i can activate the 6-month plan after my current plan expires, or if i have to immediately activate it upon getting my new phone. i just called their customer service and she wasn’t very helpful…so has anyone else been in this situation before? do i just have to double pay my plan for the next two months?

Very frustrated trying to switch from TMobile to Mint. My wife has a phone and number on our account and I have a different phone and different number. Mint’s instructions made it sound like each phone needs its own transfer PIN but none of the instructions I followed worked for me (never had an option to make a transfer PIN for my wife’s phone). I waited an hour to speak with TMobile customer service and they told me I just need the one transfer PIN that I got through the TM app, not two. Can anyone confirm if this is true or not?

I switched from T-Mobile to Mint. I got the eSIM when u switched. I have my old T-Mobile SIM cards. Is there any reason to keep them?

My phone service completely disconnected about an hour and a half ago, and said I left the home network and that I needed to turn on my international roaming. I cannot send texts, calls, or use data unless my international roaming is turned on.

My concern is that I called customer service, he did some basic troubleshooting steps, had me reset my network settings then restart the phone, and told me to call back if it wasn't fixed. He checked around for a long time and said that I was connected to a network and there shouldnt have been any issues. That didn't work, so I called back. The next guy said he was kicking me off the tower so I could connect to a different tower, and said to call back if that didn't work. That didn't work. When I called back, the new guy instantly said that there is an outage and to wait 2-3 days before calling back.

I'm just suspicious that the first 2 guys didn't see there was an outage? Like I'm wondering if he just said that to get me off the phone. He said there's no public outage map I can look at.

The problem is that while my service is working ok, the data is still extremely slow, and I use my GPS all day for work, so I'm worried that Google maps isn't going to work with the network being so slow. I just want to make sure it's actually a network issue and not an issue with my phone, I don't want to wait 3 days without service just to find out I need a new phone or something.

I'm ON a recurring 12-mo plan, but you've sent me this SMS twice:

I’ve had mint for a year now and people or companies will call and it goes strait to voicemail on their end and I never receive anything. If they leave a voicemail I will randomly get it a week later. However, sometimes those same people will call and it works perfectly and I get the call. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason for it but I have missed some important calls because of it. It happens when I’m on and off WiFi and have full signal. We switched from Verizon and have the eSIM so I don’t know if something is hung up on Verizon’s end but I’m not sure where to go from here. I’ve tried troubleshooting a couple different things and nothing works.
