Issues with receiving calls

I’ve had mint for a year now and people or companies will call and it goes strait to voicemail on their end and I never receive anything. If they leave a voicemail I will randomly get it a week later. However, sometimes those same people will call and it works perfectly and I get the call. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason for it but I have missed some important calls because of it. It happens when I’m on and off WiFi and have full signal. We switched from Verizon and have the eSIM so I don’t know if something is hung up on Verizon’s end but I’m not sure where to go from here. I’ve tried troubleshooting a couple different things and nothing works.

Vampire Crabs Advice

I have a 30gal planted terrarium with isopods and I wanted to add vampire crabs to it. I wanted to get some advice on if it would work well. The soil and environment that is currently in the terrarium is ideal for the crabs already.

My plan is to take out a quarter of the soil and place a tub of some sort to fill with water for the crabs. I also was thinking of putting aqua soil in the tub to grow some aquatic grasses.

I am assuming the crabs will eat the isopods. Kind of hoping for it as they are very populated and it would be good natural food for the crabs.

Also how many crabs should I get and will they reproduce out of control? Or do they stay fairly stable with food control?

Natural Population Control

I have a planted 30gal terrarium I keep in my classroom during the school year. It has started to become over populated with the isopods I’ve kept in it. I also have four Madagascar hissing cockroaches in the same tank that are at about five inches each.

I have another tank I am planning on expanding into and have my students design it to learn how they work. However, they will be way over populated for the tank soon and expecting it to happen with the new tank.

Is there a predator I can introduce to keep their populations in check, but also not bother the roaches? It would also be a great way to showcase the full cycle of life to students and simulate the real world. I would rather do predator route than take them out and kill them myself.

I have thought about cutting food but don’t want them to eat all of the food and the roaches not get anything and die.

I am willing to move the roaches into their own tank if needed until it become more controlled or possible getting a larger tank if that’s needed.

Gauging Student Knowledge

I am a new STEM interventionist for middle and high school. Similar to Ireadys assessment to see where they are at for math and English. Is there anything out there similar to this for science? It’s a very broad field to assess but just to get a basic baseline of their knowledge to go off of. I’ve made a couple assessments myself but always seem to be missing a topic or something that comes up when working with them that I wish I could have planned for.

Edit: To clarify I work with Science and Math students. Math we can go off of iReady as a general baseline of where they are. Not always perfect but it give a general idea. Working with science students sometimes are missing large concepts they would have learned in 4th grade for example but I wouldn’t know until I work with them and they keep struggling then I have to delve deeper and find out what they are missing. Then I have to rework the intervention plan.

I was hoping there was an assessment similar to iReady to get a baseline of science knowledge on core concepts.

Bottle Can Redemption

Are there any bulk redemption centers left around Springfield Amherst and the general area within 45min of them? I can only find one by one redemptions at grocery stores.
