black soot like stuff appearing on items in apartment
wasn’t really sure where to post this but does anyone know what this black stuff might be? i’ve been noticing it appearing on plastic items in the kitchen cabinets and on stuffed animals. and this happens on stuffed animals upstairs. i only burn candles downstairs, and i only burn one candle maybe 1-2x a week for a couple hours. i live in a desert climate, so its a pretty dry climate. apartments i live in were built in 2004. and my ac works fine.
EDIT: my central hvac system doesn’t use a gas furnace and i don’t have gas appliances. so i’m thinking the culprit is the candles. got a candle warmer, hope that helps. thanks for all your replies :)
