wife's been on me for weeks about how to save money fast bc our account balance is basically one pizza order and im not exaggerating
two kids, one just started needing braces (why isnt that covered lol) other one needs new shoes every 8 weeks somehow. so i started actually trying to figure out how to save money fast instead of waiting on a raise thats never coming. i've cancelled 2 streamers we forgot we had, brought lunch to work, saved like $40/week, now i have 6 tupperwares living in my car and meal prepped on sundays, lasted 2 weeks before we caved and ordered pizza again

tried one of those round up your change apps too, seemed smart til the monthly fee ate half the savings. felt like a scam with extra steps. my brother in law keeps saying "just invest it" like i have extra cash sitting around
anyone actually found something that works without becoming another chore? im out of ideas here

my desktop doesn't have a webcam connected. i tried signing in this morning and hit a discord face scan request, which makes the verification impossible without digging out an old USB camera.
I don't mind proving it's my account. I just don't get why there isn't another option like a security key or an authenticator app. that seems like a much cleaner fallback.

Did anyone manage to skip the discord face scan another way, or are you forced to use a camera now?
