Hello everybody,

I just got my car back from an N20 engine swap as I blew up my last motor (non timing chain related). Now I got a used 2015 60k km N20 engine in my F30 and immediately after a few drives, I heard major slapping sounds which I have never heard before.

I have done my research and know that if the chain moves this much, there is a high chance that it blows up my new engine. I just want to reconfirm that this is in dire need of a timing chain replacement.
