I cried because of the 20 second hug

The days are dwindling before my first enters kindergarten and today I gave him a twenty second hug and with each second i was remembering each preceding year down to his infancy. I broke down crying and just thought about how much I wish I can relive the past. I think about how I wish I could have played more with him even though I was exhausted. All the ways I could have been a better dad. I wish I would have put my phone down more. Or taken him out to experience more. Or even just dance and be silly instead of keeping up with the house and catching up on sleep. I used to be his best friend and person to play with, but now he wants to play with the other kids at the playground without me. It feels like I'm losing my little baby and it's happening much faster than I anticipated.

Anyways, thanks for listening. I'm crying again lol. I'm sure plenty of you are in the same boat with me.

Recommendations for tree cutting service

Does anybody have recommendations for skilled tree cutting service? I have a very tall pine tree that will likely have to come down but it's in between my and my neighbors house. Thank you!

Plumbers for a large job

Hi all,

Do you have recommendations for plumbers for large jobs? E.g. sewer line, digout, pulling permit level jobs. I have one estimate for 10k (fly plumbing) and I'm trying to stay under 15k just in case something else pops up. I think the estimate is about correct so now I'm just looking for reputable work. Thanks!

After school options for preschool and kindergarten

Hi all. I've got two kids, one about to enter kindergarten and another who is three. Spouse and I both work so the 3/330 dismissal is stressing us out as one of us wouldn't be able to get them until about 5 or 530. We are considering the Y for aftercare for the kindergartener but it's quite expensive for full time for our preschooler. For our preschooler We are thinking of Robert crown in the morning and Joseph Hill center in the afternoon. But not sure what to do in that period after 3. Any other working parents have solutions? We're considering a babysitter as well if you have recommendations. Thank you!

Less physically demanding jobs

Hey all. I was wondering if any of you are in settings or specialty that is not too physically demanding or draining by the end of the day.

Current situation: MCOL, inpatient General med, mostly days and evenings. About 6y experience total. Pay is about 133. 140 with shift dif. No weekends/holidays, about 4-5w pto not including holidays (which is impossible to take off anyways). 4 tens (but I truly work 50-60hrs). 1h commute one way.

I know physically I can't be in an OR. I don't mind rounding, so I don't know if surgical specialty is an option. I also would take a pay cut if the benefits and lifestyle would make me happier. Psych has been pretty hard to break into here and moving is not an option.

Thanks in advance!
