Get the jury of people you voted off to vote for you to win the money
Mayybe he’s doing well on #1. Tho I could also make an argument the only reason he isn’t being targeted by the others is because they recognize he’s doing a really bad job at #2 and is a great person to sit with at the end
He could probably get all of the honor and integrity votes. And right now they do make up the majority, with Coach, Chrissy and Steph. And if Joe goes, that’s 1 more. But last I checked 4/11 does not a majority make, and I just don’t see a way he’d get any more, especially by actively making enemies out of jury members.
You can say Dee (and Tiff) are being emotional, but like, ok? Does that make their vote any less valuable/pissing her off while sending her to the jury any smarter?
I’m gonna bring up Big Brother for a second, but I remember one jury member in BB19 *admitting* they were a bitter juror, and how one of the finalists gameplay made them feel that way after their vote off. And it made me realize that bitter jurors don’t invalidate their vote, if anything, it on *you* to make sure your game doesn’t embitter people in the end, and especially not intentionally making that your strategy in this case (the Bait Dee strategy)
It’s also not like he’s treated the “middle people” the best. I doubt Christian loved being strong-armed, he didn’t really appreciate it when Ozzy did it to him, even if he went along with it, we saw how he felt about it pretty clearly. And Jonathan literally said “you‘re so full of it” to Emily’s face last tribal, like huh?
I also don’t even think he’s been the driver of any votes outside of Kamilla, and even that we kinda know now was very much a pre-game alliance thing with him, Chrissy and Steph and the H+I/“Zoom alliance”
Both the Dee vote and the Christian vote were much more driven by the Rizzard of Oz alliance, with Rizzo being pissed Dee leaked his idol and Cirie protecting Ozzy from Christian (and honestly herself, bc Christians arguments definitely would be the same arguments to use about getting Cirie out). We’ve seen with the other votes that they are the ones getting their way, and the others, including Jonathan, are at the whim of their wills, whether it also be what they want or not
So maybe I am just being obtuse but I really just don’t see why people think he’s actually playing a good game cuz all I see is another goat in big bad wolf clothing
