Colours under the lamp vs real light
I’ve got a problem and was wondering what’s your technique. I’ve got a decent lamp that’s pretty good at reconstructing colours. It’s also diffused a bit. (High CRI and diffusion, meaning it’s good at reconstructing real colours)z My problem is that when I’m painting, I am highlighting and shading underneath that lamp. However when I place my model in daily light (see image 2) it just looks dull and lifeless.
What’s your trick to keep it vibrant in real light? Are there any rules you follow?
I have a feeling that the best rule to follow is “turn down your lamp and see if it has enough contrast”

People who pick a lane and just stick to it - why do you do this?
I often have a situation where a driver sits on a 3rd or 2nd lane driving 60mph, forcing me to switch many lanes just to overtake them.
And I wonder why. Is it failure in car training? Should driving schools include more motorway hours?

Hi everyone! So I’m playing crusade with my friend. I cannot use character models, such as Njal or Arjac, which means I need to resort to generic termie leaders (until I buff them up to become custom themselves). what would you recommend?
My gut feeling tells me that Chaplain is the best choice here. I am running them with shields and relic weapons plus fist /cannon. Wolf guard leader is kitted with claws, but we’re not playing WYSIWYG, so it might be fielded with an axe
