First 3 match tournament

Attended my first tournament yesterday and played better than i thought. Placed 9th out of 20. Woukd have placed higher but got destroyed by a well known great player.

Detatchment was saga of great wolf and saga and song

1 of my two lancers in complete!

This is “skogarmaor”, gifted from the adepts of mars this lancer started out as any other with the space wolves until on a faithful operation a squad of long fangs got pinned down, the lancer came to the aid of the pack however after the killing was done , the toll was heavy only 1 of the 10 long fangs was left alive , Olaf Twitch-finger filled with rage and sadness rather than leaving and carrying on alone , he opted to to join the lancer crew as there gunner and reap the tally in honor of his fallen pack! Thus the legend of “skogarmaor” was born and his saga continues to be written !

Meta Question

So looking at 10th and 11th Space Wolves are doing okay, but not quiet as good as generic Blueberry Marines or other chapters.

Is there anything stopping a Wolf player from just feilding say Gladius Task Force but painting the marines Space Wolf colors?

I love the wolves, but feel like GW has kinda mistreated them since the old 3rd edition. While other armies like the the cowards of Prospero are rewarded or even generic marines.

Jump Pack Intercessors - Worth it?

I’ve been looking at building out a more mobile component to my army and with the new terrain rules, having a unit with the fly key word seems like a good choice.

I have 2 3 man units of TWC and Bjorn for speed, and a wgbl with headtakers in a repex, but ive found take and hold less than ideal(playing dark angels most often and their termies just whack mine most days).

How have people been finding using a more mobile style army in a disruption or priority assets disposition?

do JPis with a captain or chaplain with jump have a place in it?
