PSA: Wulfen death totems now affect the entire unit.
This means:
1.) You only need one and the rest can equip the frag launchers.
2.) Any leaders attached using 'wolf-touched' enhancement also benefit from the reroll 1s ability.
Enjoy :)

Finally got around to building and painting my Space Wolf version of Canis Rex.
Installed a little hinge in the hatch so that Sir Hekhtur can poke out occasionally.
Very happy with how it turned out, especially the freehand pauldron artwork -- first time doing that kind of thing. Big ups to Bob Ross for helping me with that one.
Saw a post on the Black Templar sub doing this, and thought it might be fun for us to dream.
Here's my idea:
Cast the Runes
At the start of the battle round, you Cast the Runes by rolling 7 d6. You can then use those dice to activate up to two Runewords. Each Runeword specifies the combination of dice required to activate it, and they must be activated one at a time. When you activate a Runeword, those dice are consumed. Runewords apply to all ADEPTUS ASTARTES units in your army.
Runewords:
- Squall (1+, 2+). Your attacks get either the Lethal Hits or Sustained Hits 1 ability.
- Rime (2+, 3+). Attacks made against you have -1 strength.
- Whet (3+, 4+). Melee attacks have +1 strength.
- Fleet (4+, 4+). Add 2" to advance rolls made by this unit.
- Woad (5+, 5+). This unit is eligible to charge after making an Advance Move.
- Skjall (6+, 6+). Attacks made by Character units have +1 to wound.
(The specific numbers/abilities would obviously need tweaking. I haven't done the math on this or anything, it's just a placeholder.)
I think it would be awesome if we see Russ return as a more wise, more 'priesty' Odin-type figure, too. He could have an ability to activate an additional Runeword or something awesome.
We could also have Wolf Priests become 'Support' characters, and let them manipulate the Cast the Runes roll somehow. Turn 1 die into a 6 or something.
As an army we could have so much more flavour than "Oath of Moment, but worse." I'm trying not to get my hopes up because GW hasn't shown us much love lately, but I can dream.
