People complain about how wolfy the sixth are, but…

I just watched a video that goes over how the Germanic peoples did stuff that sounds a lot like what our Vlka Fenryka does lol. Like straight up acting as wolves, as a form to worship Wodanaz/odin. So maybe the wolf larp is more accurate to history than some would expect.

Here’s a link to the video, very interesting stuff beyond just the wolf connection.

And a fun fact: Odin isn’t referred to as Allfather, that’s a mistranslation.

Theory: Ross isn’t a BSD

A common idea perpetuated within this subreddit as fact is that Ross, a potential son of D, is a Black Spiral Dancer. This idea has merit to it, after all, he’s working for Pentex, a company that works to further the destruction of Gaia in the name of the Wyrm, sworn enemies of the Garou Nation, only BSD would work for them. But then you might ask, if he’s a BSD, why isn’t he deformed? Well, not all BSD are deformed, batshit insane and wracked with mutations, some, like Mr Dragon Wrath, an individual we’ve seen in the series, is in fact a BSD who isn’t mutated and isn’t, entirely, insane. So it wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility that Ross is one of these “sane” BSDs, but he can also just not be a BSD.

Yes, I’m suggesting that Ross is in fact NOT a BSD, despite the fact that he is working for what is most definitely Pentex. The reason I think this is because of a major detail that gets overlooked by the wider community, that detail being the Bane Lantern that they recovered from Bennings. Why would a black spiral dancer need to get their hands onto a bsd fetish that isn’t particularily rare or hard to make? Surely if he were a BSD, he’d be able to make one himself or at least get it from another BSD.

Whether you’d think this is a good point or not, you are probably still thinking, why would he be working for Pentex if he isn’t a BSD? It goes entirely against the nature of garou to even tolerate Wyrm corruption, so how could he even physically stop himself from slaughtering mr Palmer and his first team entourage? He can do it through great willpower, such great restraint that he is just oozing the urge to kill but doesn’t act on it unless given permission. He wanted to kill Kevin and Chapman, both of whom have Wyrm corruption, but restrained himself enough to ask his handler for confirmation on whether to kill them. What I’m saying is that he is currently on a monkey wrench operation, a particular kind of undercover mission some garou undertake in order to sabotage Pentex from within. If I recall correctly, the shadow lords have a group that specializes in this, but they aren’t the only ones who do it. Ross could well be on this very same kind of mission, trying to undermine Pentex from within.

And this kind of restraint and willpower he’d need is entirely in character for a leman Russ Expy, cause after all, as has been stated many times within the lore of 40k, leman was in a constant state of restraint, waiting for just the right moment to unleash his frenzy. He has been described as having a facade that he wears to surprise his enemies, to catch them off guard. If Ross truly is an Expy of Leman, then him restraining himself in order to surprise Pentex when they least expect it would be entirely within character.

I can’t be the only one…

He’s gonna show up in the next episode, right? The murder-make will begin, surely? Theirs this anticipation, everything feels much too emotional, it feels as though it serves as a way to make whatever is about to happen to hurt all the more. I can’t rightfully explain why, but threads are gonna be severed next episode.

I feel like we don’t talk about this enough…

Also Sven Bloodhowl’s lore around using the skin of his enemies as tattoo canvas cause his body ran out of space for anymore of his deeds.
