"Did" Matilda kill Fatigue?

So with the release of episode 6 and the attitude Matilda shows, I feel it opens up the murder scene of Fatigue.

Matilda feels rather direct in her actions. We can rationalize her purpose being there was finding Old Shuck. They think all hunters know so go to hunters. But the scene was given subterfuge. The door was locked, there were survivors. Matilda doesn't seem like someone who would hold back into hiding after wolfing out. After they transformed at the end of ep5 they stopped holding back. If Matilda killed Fatigue, why go back into hiding? How could they go back into hiding with such a "fuck it we ball" attitude and commiting a gruesome kill?

A weird theory: Hunter of Hunters was framed?

Ok you may say that its a total bonkers of a theory but hear me out.

Even though we know that Matilda was a werewolf and that she was present in the room when Fatigue died, there are some things that don't add up to me that feel important.

#1: The motive:

D voices "fatigue expertise" as a proof that Matilda is not a vampire. True it makes sense for a Garou to take out a Garou specialist, but it doesn't really make sense to:

>Take them out in a way that makes it very clear they were killed by something unnaturally powerful.

>Take out the only person whose profession was connected to you. Ironically making it clear to others that the killer is a Garou.

Then there is also the fact that Fatigue also had a reputation, and a reputation that surprised everyone in the Arcanum that learned of it. Fatigue ended up SAVING a Garou in the past and openly opposing and helping eliminating a pack of fanatical stolen moons.

My crack theory is that Kin of the Shuck pack knew about Fatigue to some extend and maybe even felt a sense of respect to him, afterall Stig is a guy who can respect people that showcase important values, such as bravery. And taking down a group of stolen moons and ending a legacy of one of the worst crimes Garou can imagine? I am not buying the idea that Stig and by extenstion Hunts did not knew who Fatigue is, given how the Green Claw Garou who was saved by him definitely told others from their pack about it, and the news likely spread like wildfire among the tribes, especially those that would be in areas near current location of Fatigue.

Sure Red Talons hate humanity with extra passion but I have pointed out in my other posts the team is eager to bring nuance to clans and tribes rather than playing their stereotypes straight. I can see Hunts choosing not to murder Fatigue simply because how he helped kill stolen moons.

#2: The fight:

Git says that there was a struggle between Fatigue and Hunts, and how the fight took a while. Fucking how? I can see people claim its to showcase how much of a badass Fatigue is and how he could fight off a crinos despite being an old man... chief this is that kind of a guy. He won't suddenly pull off some Baki style martial arts techniques, he is just a senior citizen with theoretical experience.

So what I think may have happened?

I think that the Arcanum has been compromised by a bane, not just a ghoul and a garou.

We know Pentex is involved and we know that banes love to make people suffer. So what if it was not Hunts that attacked Fatigue unprovoked? What if the bane that is in the Arcanum possessed somebody? The way I see it there are two ways, one more likely than the other:

A: Fatigue was possessed, Hunts merci killed him and Spit got catatonic from seeing a Crinos.

Unlikely, banes have difficult time possessing pure hearted people, and Fatigue's moral compass would he like an unpenetrable fortress.

Which brings us to:

B: Spit got possessed, Hunts went Crinos thinking she's the one the bane is gonna fight but the bane instead went for Fatigue thus signaling to the hunters that all bets are off and framing Hunts.

The theory also assumes that another theory, the swarm type bane responsible for sowing resentment and anger, which manifests as flies scattered around the Arcanum is also present.

A theory I am a fan of as there has been an aweful large amount of flies and buzzing present in key moments of this arc.

And also, when it comes to my original point, here's the biggest reason I think Hunts did not killed Fatigue:

#3: If anything Fatigue was the only hunter the pack would want alive.

Note how Jambles, Hunts or Stig never mention anything about the hunter data. As if this was never their objective. If anything I feel like the purpose of infiltration was to simply gather the intel from fatigue, either forcefully or if possible: through more finesse methods.

Fatigue dies after he sits down with spit and git and gets into his "old man talking about stuff he is passionate about" mode as evident by Git mentioned he was yapping about yams.

What if the plan was for Hunts to stroll by, right when Fatigue is feeling chatty and safe, and then try to gently ask him if he ever heard of Black Shuck, the local legend.

However the bane notices and thinks that the perfect 10d chess manauver is to kill Fatigue right now, and have Hunts take the blame. Now Garou have no clues, their best lead is dead and the heat went through the fucking roof.

No matter how you look at it, Fatigue was the key to Garou learning about the Shuck, not obstacle. If I was them, and I were to guess who at the Arcanum knows where the Elder Black Shuck is, then of course I would try the lycanthrope specialist. Even if my point of them knowing and respecting Fatigue for his past is wrong and I would be surprised if I was right on that part, this part alone should put plenty on doubt on idea that murder of Fatigue was part of the plan.

So whatchu think? My main reason for this theory is that the pack seems to be painted as potential future allies.

And I cant see the family joining forces with people who

>Murdered Fatigue out of malice/cold blooded strategy

>Murdered Grimmal (which why I worry that Grimmal may not be gone... yes I am worried. Something about her words being "remember me LIKE THIS" gives me a sense of her coming back... but us wishing she didn't. Mayhaps some necromancy or wraith fuckery, mayhaps some ghoul fuckery... either way by her being a traitor working with Camarilla and the vamps reclaiming and repairing their lost asset.)

Just Remembered

Horses are anatomically incapable of vomiting. That's why stomach issues that us vomiters can tank with no problems can just straight up kill them. As if we needed any more proof that Horse probably isn't actually a horse. But speaking infernal prophecies that traumatize small children is normal for equines.

The Chant

In the latest chapter (Inquisition Impergium) Stig “The Future Black Shuck” is seen while fighting the Leopoldites, and starts recitino a [Viking War Chant].
Does anyone know the words he’s singing and their approximate meaning?

So if White wolf decides to crowbar in Forsaken 2e Harmony bar how would the do it for each splat.

LIke werewolf has a low hanging fruit in the from of harano & hauglosk and Changeling might deal with Binal/Glamor. Juriys out on Mage and hunter...

Can Garou be killed with non silver means?

If you use such an incredible amount of fire power (like a nuke or something) to basically obliterate a Garou would it not come back from that? Or is silver the only way to get rid of one permanently?

Was the strategy the Sunday schoolers (the society of Saint Leopold) used actually good or non ( spoiler)

this strategy sounds ok to me but I don't know a lot about strategy so I'm probably wrong.

the rest of coalition run off after the aggressive meeting so the Leopold can only use so much of their own people without actually hurting them much in the end.

I know it doesn't matter in the end.

But for some reason this was in my head and I just needed to get it out.

Dumb theory

I've been thinking about something, what if boy's mother was the elder Black shuck the pack is trying to find, it's never said SHUCK has to be male and the wolf and werewolf form are mostly gender neutral, what if she found Door interesting had boy and is away from them in America doing some Gaia duty.

I mean you could use horse prediction (?) to say Door has some dominion on Luna, by being married to a werewolf.

Other than that, I just have potential evidences on boy meat diet and his only 1 eye showing, other than that not much.

Why did kitten attack stig and not grimal?

When stig is held in place and is doing his chant to see the corrupt christ, kitten attacks stig, but what if grimal used her oar to attack stig instead? We know it has silver from their fight at the end so it would be effective, and stig was held in place by that true faith or whatever that was so she could actual land the hits as we see kitten do so. So couldn't she have just used her silver oar to slice stigs and arm off? Or maybe his neck?

It's quite possible I missed something or miss understood something

Have a great day

Sir D's supernatural status was foreshadowed in episode 1

After being fed on by kevin, the knife and bite wound (which wasn't sealed as we can clearly see) that should be leaking blood are already fully healed and no blood is visible. We know the OP team aren't afraid to show gruesome wounds on characters, as a minute later kevin literally pulls a spear through his eye hole and it is coated in vitae. The OP team wouldn't have missed such an obvious detail, as they rendered blood from the initial knife wound, but chose to hide any and all wounds or blood from his face after being rescued from kevin.

And secondly, he got enough blood drained to be immediately delirious, yet somehow had enough presence of mind to raucously cheer about how he had spiked his blood. No normal human would be capable of thinking clearly at all let alone think to brag about the situation with lucid detail.

He was delirious after being fed on, but in a short time later (the time it took to carry the sabbat pack to the golden goose, probably not very long but it's not really shown exactly how long) he is perfectly fine again without suffering any visible symptoms of blood loss, and is capable of driving while already intoxicated. A normal human would almost certainly be fighting to stay conscious by this point considering how much blood he lost.

I feel like both of these will be obvious signs in retrospect that something supernatural is going on with D.

I think…. I think I miss my comfort character. (Weird yap post)

I feel like the first stage to come when it comes to fictional character grieving is the most obvious, jokes. I made my jokes and I’ve laughed at others but after a while it kinda dawns on you, “wow. They’re never coming back”. And when it did for grimal i, and I’m gonna sound like a pussy for it, genuinely was saddened. This was a useless post but I kind of wanted to get this little yap off my chest because GODDDD STIG WHEN I GET YOU I SWEAR TO GODDDDD

Which one of the Kin of Shuck you recon will join the D and Kevin gang?

Given that D has a thing where he unites the supernatural to fight for what they actually want and the obvious parallels between him and the 40k emperor's inner circle (Kevin maps pretty cleanly onto Malcador), I'm personally betting that one of the 3 Garou will join D in the same way Kevin joined after his packmates bit it (to go back to the 40k parallels, D still needs his Valdor).

Operating under this pretense, which one of the 3 do you think or want to survive and join D? My money is on Jambles in terms of how realistic it is but I do feel like HoH/Matilda would be a lot more interesting if they could justify it.

Edit: I wrote Giles intead of Jambles fuck.

Edit 2: Just remembered Guy is a thing to be the Valdor stand in but uh. Shut up I make the rules.

Could Matilda beat an ork at math?

From what I understand the average ork can only go as high as 5, but some can get as high as 10. Who wins at math and who is more frustrated at being forced into this contest as opposed to fighting?

The Mystery of the Droods

Apologies if something like this has been brought up or posted before.

In the most recent chapter of H:TP we have a scene where Stig calls upon some ‘Wise Ones’ to help him see the thing that is binding him, that being Wyrm-Jesus. Then these two (who are almost certainly a reference to the hit game The Mystery of the Druids and its iconic cover art) show up and help Stig see the Wyrm-corrupted God the Leopoldites had summoned.

What I want to know is, is there actual lore associated with these Droods, and is this an actual gameplay mechanic in the Werewolf games? Or is it just a cool visual with no backstory beyond looking badass? Is this just something Swedish people can do?

I am kinda new here what the HELL is that horse?

For context I am at the episode where Big D and Kitten (yes I migrated from TTS) hunted a rat that was revealed to be dogs. Great episode btw I love how Big D can have serious gut wrenching moments too. The damn horse is still on my mind. Tf did it say? Also Kitten is the goat

My trip to Norfolk:

The camping trip finally made it out of the group chat! I’m glad to report that Norfolk is, in fact, a real place. Unfortunately we did not ride the miniature steam train (the wells and walsingham light railway) because we are are broke (almost)uni students and can’t justify spending 14£ for a round trip on a mini train. I highly recommend wells next the sea as a holiday town, it was really fun and the beach was massive(though the water not deep enough to swim in)

Yeah also the Iron Age fort is somewhat lacking in signage or parking, we kinda just pulled over on the country lane and walked to it.

I’ve included the informative signs at the relevant locations for your viewing pleasure 😊

Is it just me, or does The Efraelian Cenacle of East Anglia not sound particularly East Anglian?

Of all of the Leopoldites in Benedicte's warband, not one of them actually talks like a local to the area. We have:

  1. Benedicte herself, alleged Belgian, who sounds almost as American as Door
  2. Eliwaffle, an actual Belgian
  3. A whole gaggle of New Yorkers

Is there some in-universe explanation for this? Does the Society deliberately avoid recruiting locally or something?

Foreshadowing?!!11!

Low effort post because that line just randomly came back to my mind. Unlike Grimal's mind, which as mentioned now probably resembles thick oatmeal paste.
