The tragic irony of Fatigue and Matilda
After watching the 6.1 matilda mini episodes and somone else pointing some similarities (https://www.reddit.com/r/huntertheparenting/s/ZWcuGA7SgY) out here between this and Fatigues episode something struck me like lightning, Matilda and fatigue have tragically similar stories, both where pulled into a world there where pretty much oblivious to by there elders, in fatigues case his father in matildas a pack of zealous garou basically ambushing here right after her first change.
Both saw the true ugliness of what there elders did, for Fatigue seeing his father voluntarily become a twisted monster and matildas witnessing the garou sacrificing people in front of her.
And finally both refused to condone or be a part of it, Fatigue in abject horror of what he was doing and had done rejected his father's 'gift' to become a 'wolf of God' and Matilda rejected the zealous packs barbaric ways
I find it tragically ironic that if things had gone differently i could see them both getting along and even having common ground with such similar story's, Fatigue at his core was a empathetic soul, upon seeing the terrible things his family did he set out to redeem his family's name, one tile at a time. and then matilda, for all her big talk of hating humanity unconditionally of trying to come off as one dimensional red talon she does care for at least her pack and one person if no other 'Amanda'
You don't spare a person you hate who kissed you unexpectedly in a alley, and you certainly don't go out of your way to draw the ire of a mad spirit of the hunt after hearing your coworker is living in the area you set it loose in, risking your own life to draw it away
As the cearn spirit said "you care whether you like it or not"
If he found out by putting two and two together or matilda slipping up I could genuinely see Fatigue rather than jumping straight to sounding the alarm or trying to fight her seeing her as a monster, but rather just sitting down and talking with a fellow wounded soul scared by there past yet still standing, if anyone could empathise with a Garou in that chapter house it would be the kind old Fatigue, plus being the resident werewolf expert probably helps
Looking for a analog horror series
Been looking for a series but just can't seem to find it for the life of me
I don't recall the name but the know the details, it's not tale of two earth's but a similar premise
it's a setting where scientists in a lab in canada find out alternate earth's exist, potentially an infinite number of them, they create a test to see if other earth's they contact are hostile or not, the first one fails the test but the second passes it.
after communicating for a time they decide to try and create a wormhole/ gateway to connect the two to help each other out, but in the process of the two trying to bridge the gab the second world from before starts trying to hijack the connection
the main earth isn't able to stop the process, one of the scientists even resorts to attacking the machine making the connection with a fireaxe or sedgehammer in a desperate attempt to stop it. But its too late, the moment the connection is made and explosion destroys the lab and a scene shows it visible from a homes window.
Later on its show things are coming through the gateway and the whole of Canada is now an exclusion zone because in the area around the gateway things from the second earth are coming into our world and that area is slowly growing
In one video I recall someone being forced to play a game where one of these creatures from the other world seems to be inside, forcing the person playing to experience the events as if he was in the game himself
Could you help me find this series
