Is it even worth mentioning that you can find literally all of these guys inside of Pentex?

And for any shippers amongst you, come up with some good ships between a demon and a fairy, and hopefully it will get drawn by someone.
Just wanting to mock more adhering to this stupid rule because "it wasn't contradicted since 2e", just for context
My country is (rounded up) 312k square miles large and has population of 38 million. That means in the entire country there are 38 Mages. Average children's classroom is 32 kids. My factory job, just for the sector I'm in, needs around 40 people divided in 4 shifts. This is hardly enough to make working society of a single organization in a large aglomeration, less alone 9 Traditions and 5 Methodologies and how many Disparates and Crafts in the whole country. You literally cannot run a game or write a supplement using such statistics. It is outright claustrophobic and leaves no room to actually establish anything. How can anyone play liek that unless they have no sense of scale is beyond me.
Also if your curious Malkav and the Madness Network is from Vampire The Masquerade
also this is probably the only time i can reference "Alice: Otherlands"
where Alice visits the minds of Jules Verne and Richard Wagner
For once, no, I'm not gonna give any context on this. Y'all better beg the changeling players to answer what these images mean.
I've seen a few discussions on the 6th edition coming out, it seems part of it is so that the splats not represented in 5th edition. So if the 2nd inquisition still happened in your game they're are about to have a lot of new enemies to fight! I never played 5th edition myself, but I heard that it's lacking in metaplot* department and more focused on individuals. I'll refer to this post last month, for those who might have missed it. It also gave me a good opportunity to glaze Ron Spencer and his art, I think he deserves it and since Revised art apparently is supposed to be the inspiration for the new, I can't think of a better reference.
^(*I am so proud of using the flair as a pun here, honestly.)
Y'all, let me tell you what the fuck just happened.
Some friends and I are running a game of Chicago by night. Our coterie consists of:
The session starts with our coterie getting the mission to find a Malkavian who had been on a rampage downtown. Like, a walking masquerade breach.
We manage to track him down to an abandoned building and corner him in the bathroom like a stray cat we're trying to immunize.
Malk is hiding in the bathroom, literally growling and spitting and cussing us out behind a closed door, calling us every name in the book and threatening to eat our eyeballs if we come in.
Bro is having a complete psychotic breakdown and is approaching frenzy. He isn't frenzying, but he's close.
We try to decide who should go in and get him out. Nosferatu doesn't say anything, he just wants to get the job done. But Ventrue and the Toreador suggest my character should do it.
So I ask them, very politely,
>"Why the fuck should I go into a room with only one way in and out with a tweaking Malkavian? I'm a fledgeling, you guys are neonates, why don't you do it? You have more experience!"
And Ventrue, that fucker, looks me dead in the eye and says:
>"You should do it because you're a vet"
I was fucking speechless.
The lack of empathy, the tone-deafness, the lack of any sort of respect, the determination to delegate downwards even if it means sending the fledgeling to her doom.
He played me like a damn fiddle because all I said was: "Now I'm definitely going in, because you just equated the mentally ill with actual animals, so I know I can't trust you to go in there with a shred of empathy or respect"
And in my dumb ass goes, and Nos comes with. I ask why he's coming and he says "Empathy and respect my dick, you're gonna need someone to hold that crazy fucker down while you talk him out of a frenzy"
It was a hell of a session and the roleplay was so peak.
I told my Ventrue friend he's a bastard. But goddamn if he doesnt have the clan of kings mentality down pat.
