A friend got me this model for my birthday, and I’m not planning on using him for the game, so I thought I’d have a bit of fun with it!
I wasn’t sure which way I would do the rune on his screen, as technically it’s the right way up for him when he looks at it, but visually it looks upside down.. Kinda same logic as with tattoos really! I curse my logical brain..!

After 2 gruelling months, I have finally finished this squad. The heat has made me quite lazy about painting, but today I finally finished those guys.
I used the old Intercessor kit, spare grey hunters bits I got from Vinted, leftover bits from the Combat Patrol and Kill Team.. Only third party bits I used were the backpack for the pack leader and the necklaces.
Overall I’m quite happy with them, and I think I’ve made them Space Wolves enough? I recently bought myself a few old edition of Space Wolves codex and had a moment where I wasn’t sure if I did enough, but now they’re finished I think they have enough wolf flair. Also free handed the pack markings, did my best but they’re not very consistent.. I’ve stared at them too much and all I can see now is the negative, so it’s time to put an end to it haha What do y’all think? ✌🏼
Anyone else dig the Super Distortion and Super 2 combo in their Les Paul?? This is the best sounding guitar I’ve ever had in my life, it just feels right! Every time I pick up my Ibanez PS120, I am reminded of the thick finish on it that stops it from resonating freely..

Making some progress on my intercessors! I’m having so much fun kitbashing them and making them all different. Trying to imagine each of them as aspiring Jarls 🥹
He’s pretty much done! But I’m wondering if I want to add the pelt dangling in front of his legs or not..
He looks pretty imposing like that! (Maybe not so much when he’s next to my Redemptor, Ivar)
Took me a while to finish with the current heatwave.. I guess it gave me inspiration to do the axe haha
I might try later to add glow reflections on his armour but didn’t feel confident enough to try it 😅
Very happy with my bunch of old daddies, they took a while because of the amount of details but I’m loving them!
That means I have now completed my combat patrol, which is what I set out to do when coming back into the hobby.
I’m still in the process of finishing Logan, Bjorn, Iron Priest, Ulrik, a pack of intercessors and headtakers… So still lots to do!
Powered through this kill team quite quickly, went for an old hammer vibe weapon on the hunter’s plasma gun, I felt inspired by the old space wolves artworks!
Overall quite happy with the results, although I regret putting the rune priest’s head on, he’s my least favourite for that reason..!
