Software engineer a major international company in Germany making under 80k. Time to move on?

Hi guys,

I have 15+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, mostly focused on Java and SDLC. I currently work remotely for a large international corporation. I actually like the job, the culture, and the stability, but my salary is under €75k and there is no room for financial growth here.

Scrolling through LinkedIn and Reddit makes me feel like I'm leaving a lot of money on the table, especially considering the type of company I am with.

Is the Germany in a good place for a senior/staff-level switch? Or is it safer to stay put and wait for the tech market to bounce back more? I'd love to get some perspective on what a realistic salary for my profile should look like today.

Thanks in advance!

Update: Just to clarify based on the comments, I am already living and working in Germany. I'm fully aware of the taxes and the rental market here. Also, I don't speak fluent German, but my current role at this large international corp is 100% in English, so I am only looking at similar English-speaking companies in Berlin.
