I have this shaker style wooden garage door thats rotted at the bottom. Part of the reason for this is due to the door dropping in areas and coming out of its joints. It’s the only one with issues and I’d love to keep it. I’m not looking for a proper repair at this point, just something to buy me a year or two to allow it to function before repairing the bottom rotted parts. I tried using the door lifting air bags but it was too heavy. Should I put the door up, wood glue the joints that have slipped out and push them in? How would you go about this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
