Financial Aid is a Mess: Graduate School Edition
No one in this department seems to know how to communicate clearly. Worst run department ever. I’m supposed to graduate in Spring 2027, and even though I’m only halfway through my program, Financial Aid is telling me I need to complete my degree by the end of this summer after just one year.
I now have to submit an appeal, but I already explained that I’m not taking four additional classes just to satisfy this situation surrounding the OBB changes through Congress and avoid dealing with the private loan fallout later.
Is anyone else experiencing USC Financial Aid pushing graduate students to finish early before Grad PLUS loan changes take effect in July?
