Finished Edge Theory Rebuild

Just wanted to share my final steps for rebuilding my broken Edge Theory setup. This time I put drainage mats under the chiller and added 3 layers of puzzle foam. Swapped out another line and insulated it after also installing swivel heads coming out of the chiller. I now have the exhaust going completely away from the entire area, instead of hitting my hoses and pump. Insulated the flimsy lid with 2 layers as well.

Was so depressed when my tub went to shyte but I have to say I learned a lot during this process and will continue to tweak here and there.

Re-re-rebuild!

Rebuilt my broken Edge Theory setup for like the 3rd time. Walmart chiller and danner pump to replace edge chiller. I almost gave up on doing it myself but learned a lot. I took a video but wont let me upload.

All new crimp free high pressure tubing. No inline filters to change all inside tub for less plumbing issues and better insulation. Foam and insulation tape on all lines. Waiting on swivel adapters to face the chiller away from the pump and lines and finish taping.

I want to add the foamular below and above the tub as well for my next project. I only lost 7 degrees overnight as I turn the chiller and danner pump off when not using and have the in tub filter going when thats off.

I had to add so many valves and barbs it was wild finding all the parts especially plastic. Thanks so much for everyone's help along the way. I'd like the think it was my own build but realistically I took from dozens of examples on here. Gonna clean everything up declutter and work on the electrical lines too.

Hope this helps someone with their build!

Help with quick connects

Hey everyone - i need some help finding the right connections so that I can undo the hoses from my tub and flip it over etc.

Ive got 3/4 inch hoses. I also had to loosen the hose that goes out of my chiller to have it going the right direction. Im worried once I turn it on its gonna leak now. So maybe I should replace those too?

Thanks!

Edit: maybe theres a 90 degree with just a swivel? I just cant seem to find it online

Apple Trees en route

Hello all!

I just purchased 4 apple trees from stark bros. 2 Honeycrisp, gala, fuji.

My question is - because fuji and gala are prone to fire blight, should I plant them on the opposite side of my property as the honeycrisp? I have 4 acres to work with. Just not sure if thats even worth it or should I just not even try with the fuji or gala?

Thanks!
