I recently watched berserk 1997 , it was a recommendation from my friend who suggested that's it's one of the peek in dark fantasy. And yes I did very much enjoy. In fact i loved it . The issue is i couldn't find the second season. My friend told me there is another berserk that is different type of berserk. He did warn me that the artwork and the themes and music is far more different so it will be harder to adopt. He suggested me to finish the manga first . I haven't read any manga before. I would like the expertise of the reddit community. That I should start the manga or the 2016 anime first.

A very long and brutally honest trauma dumping incoming.

For starters, I am autistic with Adhd and with a very strong sense of justice and a shitty family history and that made me a target in the main subreddit. I got abuse for basically everything and under nearly every post I commented below. I barely had any good time in the main Berserk subreddit, I was mocked for my writing, despite there was nothing wrong with it, getting mocked and blamed for my struggles in my home country (I deserve it for daring to defend Guts). Getting abused for trying to defend Guts against many so called "fans" who blamed him for things beyond his control (accidentaly killing Adonis, assaulting Casca while the Beast possessed his body and his righteous Roaring Rampage of Revenge against the God Hand, saying the generic victim blaming line: Just because this and that happened to him, that is not an excuse, nor a defense, demonstrating zero empathy, zero emotional inteligence, zero understanding about how a traumatized brain works and endless malice that makes the God Hand good and affable by comparison). Yes, it is an excuse and a proper defense and Guts cannot be put in boxes of human morality and man made laws are not applying to him because he rejects them and has his sword, his armor, his fists and his supernatural strengh to back him up against victim blamers who attempt to put him in boxes and put labels on him. Getting abused for saying that Godo was a mean, stupid old man who barely comprehended Guts's trauma and his "calling out" was more like a victim blaming punching down. Getting abused for wanting a good ending for Guts that he deserves and needs. Getting abused for daring to say that he suffered more than Casca in the Eclipse (getting his arm severed and his eye gouged out is objectively worse, sorry not sorry), getting abused for saying that he should beat Griffith up and that he can do it. Getting abused for saying that Guts was right about leaving the Band behind to follow his own path, getting abused for daring to say that Griffith was a vicious narcissistic bitch since day one, way before the infamous Eclipse. Getting abused for saying that Guts is not illiterate and he would be a better leader than Griffith objectively. Getting abused for describing what Corkus really was: A vicious bully with zero redeeming qualities who got what he deserved: Death at the Eclipse.

What should I do? I blocked that subreddit, but the trauma still haunts me.

My hope is after it's ending it will get very popular and then MIGHT just MIGHT get an adaptation 🫠

I'm believing in MAPPA 🙏🏻 cuz there are animating ANYTHING like "ANYTHING"(👀 IYKYK) sooooo I hope they animate Berserk in future (HOLY 🌬️ ⚽?)

See.... Other studios can't produce berserk because of the investors 🫤(idk the EXACT Japanese term if anyone knows correct me ✌🏻)

Like the investors are not investing in berserk for SOOOO long(like I'm asking the investment it DESERVES. So No hate to the previous adaptations btw ✌🏻)i don't think they will in the future 🤷🏻‍♂️

"🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁".........BUT Mappa is a company where they Self-produce and self-invest themselves(also here idk the technical term so correct me if I'm wrong)so there is nobody to tell them what to do

And also by Mappa's recent pattern i think they would be more happy to animate Berserk (🌬️ ⚽?)

All that matters is if the manga gives permission/licence or something(i don't know the exact word) we can get an Anime adaptation and more people will watch it which berserk should get 😭
