My nvidia card is burning up ... at 0% load
So i have this problem for a pretty long time now.
I own an xiaomi mi notebook pro 15.6 GTX with the Nvidia GTX 1050 Max Q and Intel i7 8550u.
I really love this laptop and even after 5 years its just so good.
But for about 1-2 years i have this problem with the nvidia card. I've tried everything, reinstalled drivers, and trying to troubleshoot in german forums. So far no one could have solved the problem. Even after a whole windows reinstall it didn't go away. I tried repasting twice, nothing helped.
My card is just burning up. Task manager shows 0% load on the Nvidia GPU, but 80, sometimes even 85 degrees celcius temperature. HWinfo shows even 92 degrees hot spot temperature. I just turn off the card in device manager and use intels integrated gpu. But it hurts, because the Nvidia was just so nice to have for editing or light gaming.
