With the crazy recent surges in demand recently, some of ya’ll should seriously consider locking up your rarities for the future.
We have creeped past the €5k per unit sales price point this year. We’ve also seen an unprecedented number of prize bey sales in a very short span of time, and sold out of pretty much all the top tier units we dropped starting from January.
The G1 Anubis set for example has already been sold in the past for €10k+, and Individual units recently at €5k. expect the complete set to now command €20k+ easy.
There will always be people selling limited units under the market ceiling and frankly that is entirely their choice - we do it too from time to time. But denying that the upper margin exists is no longer realistic.
With the shutdown of new midfakes too, the audience is pretty much guaranteed to not receive any more replicas of high end prizes. Items like gold sol blaze that had once seen a price dip have now bounced back HARD and sold out at €1800+.
Expect massive price movement over the next few months for the likes of Dark Flare, Dream, Gold Wing, Gryph, G1 sets etc. especially because of the insane surge in Taiwan. (That market alone is single handedly responsible for the global shortage in TT BBX, believe it or not.)
Once the supply fully dries up, pricing power naturally shifts to the collectors and holders themselves, who ultimately decide where the next ceiling settles.
