what's something people overdo in the name of hygiene?

i've noticed a lot of people seem to think cleaner is always better, but sometimes it feels like people go way overboard.

whether it's showering multiple times a day, using way too much soap, disinfecting everything constantly, or replacing products way sooner than needed, i'm curious where people draw the line.

what's one hygiene habit you think people overdo, and why? did you used to do it yourself or has your opinion changed over time?
