La Liga in Canada?

How can I watch La Liga in Canada?

I've had Fubo for the EPL, but do I need a separate subscription for La Liga? If so, what are my options?

I searched around and found TSN+, but is that separate from the TSN channels I already have on TV? Is there any way to watch La Liga directly through my regular TV setup? I dont mind paying more if needed.

I just really don't want to have to use a separate app every time I want to catch a game. Fubo already feels like an extra step as it is.

Geez, I can't believe it's this hard to just watch a soccer game in 2026

Anyone want to take their kid to tonight's Whitecaps vs. Atlante FC game?

If you've been thinking about bringing them to a game but haven't had the chance yet, maybe this is your sign. I have 2 free tickets because I and my son can't attend tonight's 7:30 PM match. They're great aisle seats right by the Family Zone, so they're perfect for kids.

I'd love to give them to someone who would like to take their child for a fun night out. Please let me know!

Edit: Transferred tickets, thanks!

Question About Customizing an old Whitecaps Jersey

Hi all,

I've got a blank 2019 Whitecaps home jersey and was thinking about getting a former player's name and number put on the back.

I know the team store can add names and numbers of any former Caps players, but does anyone know if they still have the 2019 style lettering and numbers? I'd much rather have the red letters/numbers on this jersey....

Just wondering if anyone has done this before. Thanks!

Is there any place where I can sell Fan Festival tickets?

I have a pair of Fan Festival tickets for this Wendsday Canada's game day, but unfortunately can't attend due to work. They're pretty pricey, and the seats are sold out, so I'm just hoping to recover face value.

Has anyone had success selling Fan Festival tickets anywhere? I'm not sure if sites like StubHub allow them. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Anyone attend the World Cup game last Saturday? How was SkyTrain after the match?

So... I'm going to the Canada game tomorrow and then need to get back to Metrotown to watch Korea vs. Mexico with my friends at 6:00 PM.

I'd love to hang around the stadium for a bit after the game, but unfortunately I can't stay too long. I was planning to take the SkyTrain from Scienceworld and was wondering how bad the crowds were after last Saturday's match.

I know tomorrow will probably be a different story since it's a Canada game and the crowds will likely be much bigger, but I'd still appreciate any insight from people who attended last weekend.

If I arrive by the station around 5:30–5:45-ish, do you think getting on a train will be realistic, or should I plan to leave earlier?

Thanks!

Jens Castrop Jerseys

Well, too bad. Since I live abroad, I had to order the jersey early to make sure it arrived before the World Cup. At the time, the squad numbers hadn't been finalized, and #13 was the only option available. Of course, he ended up taking #23 instead 🤦‍♂️

Any place to watch Worldcup games?

I already have plans for the Team Canada games, but I'm also a huge fan of another national team. Their games are mostly on weekday evenings, and I'll probably be working until a couple of hours before kickoff.

Any recommendations around the Metrotown/Burnaby area where a large crowd might be watching? PNE is not an option cause I will be drunk. Looking for somewhere with a fun atmosphere that's still okay for a pre-teen kid.

It's a team with a pretty big presence in the Lower Mainland, so I'm guessing there will be lots of fans out watching somewhere. Just not sure where would be good.... if not I will have to go Boston Pizza probably.

I bought the tickets, but I still have no realistic way to plan the trip

I’ve been waiting for this World Cup for years.

When it was first confirmed that North America would host, my son had just been born. I remember thinking that by the time the tournament came around, he would be old enough for us to actually experience it together. I live in North America now, but I’m originally from another country, so the idea of finally being able to watch my national team play here felt really special. So I planned to travel as much as I reasonably could.

Then the draw happened, and somehow my team ended up playing its group stage in basically the farthest possible location from me. I’m in Canada, and the games are in Mexico. That’s not anyone’s fault, obviously, but it really shows how difficult this tournament is to plan for when it’s spread across such a massive geographic area. So I shifted my focus on the knock out stage however, the bigger issue is the knockout stage planning.

I bought tickets for possible knockout games. But depending on whether they finish 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in the group, they could end up in completely different cities. And if they finish 3rd, there are even more possible scenarios. The locations are all spread out, so it’s almost impossible to make proper travel plans in advance.

I’ve already spent a couple thousand dollars on tickets, but I haven’t booked hotels yet because many hotels I’ve looked at only allow cancellation up to about two weeks before. That doesn’t really help when fans may only know where their team is playing a day or two before the match.

I understand co-hosting, and I understand that a World Cup across three countries is complicated. But in countries this geographically huge, the practical difficulty for travelling fans is massive. What bothers me most is that FIFA seems to have no real concern for that side of things, while still charging ridiculous ticket prices. Fans are expected to pay huge amounts upfront, but then are left trying to solve an almost impossible travel puzzle later.

Interesting comment from the national team manager about Son’s role

I am listening to the World Cup squad release press conference, and the national team manager was asked about Son not scoring many goals recently.

He said that when he went to LA and watched the matches, he noticed Son was playing deeper and in a different role. He also said he plans to speak with Son and hear his thoughts on what his best role on the field should be.

I thought it was interesting that the national team manager spoke pretty directly about a player’s role at his club, rather than just treating it as a simple form issue.
