Firebenders as healers. If only the creators (yall know which ones) weren't so reluctant on Zuko and Katara's friendship we might have Zuko learning healing techniques and Katara mastering lightning direction using water.

I know some people ship Taang as a by-product of Zutara. Regardless of how you like these ships (or not) or how the way you ship it is totally fine. I'm personally in the team of "I wish Aang was more interesting as a character bc he just feels so unshipable" but I don't mind Taang either (again if he were written better and his character/mind was not Katara-centric).
THAT BEING SAID! I've seen the newest natla trailer introducing Toph. Now WHY do I suddenly feel Aang and Toph have ACTUAL chemistry this time?! No doubt their actors are superb with their work, or live action Aang is just more interesting. Anyway, what do you think?!
I knoooow I knoooow this is probably so last year. But i can't help but think there's just something so weird and ignorant about people who simply brush off any critical comments as 'chronically online SJW needs to touch grass'.
I PERSONALLY have no problem with the design, yes she is cute and adorable. But gamers who hype this character so much reminds me of fans who obsess over Nell Fischer's character in ST.
Has anyone ever ask those fans, if this kid was not designed as a blond white child, would they still show the same care and affection? I can already think how there would be an outrage of 'games gone woke' or 'forced diversity' had her designed be based on other minorities (who isn't east asian).
But i digress, i hope i'm wrong. What about your thoughts on this?

I am also searching for fanfictions that are pretty much this movie, but with the writers NOT being bryke. As in, the story goes as it is but zuko and katara's friendship and the entire gaang's connection wasn't erased
