Found in northern mn. Sorry for no real visual scale reference, was only 5 maybe 6 inches in length

Was wondering if anyone had ideas of what the whining noise is, not the louder bird calls. Heard in northern mn

I forage around mature aspens for black morels, but this past June a fairly aggressive storm came through and left my spot like this. Morels haven’t come up yet in my area yet but should in a week or so but I found this when going to scout. This stand has always been a great producer for my area and I’m wondering if anyone has insight on how it may react this season.

My question is will they fruit given conditions? Another question I had was do they mind how many fresh branches and clutter are on the ground now, can they grow around it or are they snuffed out.
