CC reacts like she does because she’s trying to get a ref to notice the 3rd or 4th uncalled foul against her on almost every play. Like other defenders, Lacan knows the refs can’t really see her grab and hold Clark; they know they’re fouling. And refs don’t call any W player for physically mocking her doing what all players in pro sports do: trying to draw attention to uncalled fouls. Imagine getting grabbed, held, hacked, and pushed like this every play and then a bunch of whiners on other teams don’t get techs for holding up play by being upset a legit foul was finally called. CC is tougher and more composed than she gets credit for.
