I found these growing up at my best friend’s family farm. they would toss all the rocks plowed up in the ditch, and any of these rocks almost always had fossils.
I know the rocks are above the Lyons/Fountain/Morrison/Dakota formations, somewhere just east of the foothills, but they could have been from anywhere in a few square miles.
Any idea what they might be and if they are in fact Fort Hays Limestone?
