Companions with Voice generation?

I liked Kindroid because you can upload a custom voice, but I don't like that the dev wants it's companions to one day be "sentient with equal rights to humans" (his exact words). I just want some fun adult roleplay. Any other apps or sites that allow that?

I Don't Want To Upset My Friend By Leaving His Dnd Group

I've been attending a weekly Dnd group for about 3 years, but for a long time it's felt like an obligation. I know the obvious thing is that if you aren't having fun, you don't have to go, and so I think I know the right thing to do is to leave the group.

The thing is that my best friend is the dungeon master and I worry that if I leave, he might not understand my reason. I have all week to work on things I'm passionate about and that's what I do, but having to stop once a week for Dnd still feels like an interruption, especially if I'm on a roll with my projects at home.

I don't want to drift apart from my friends, I love spending time with them, just not on a weekly, need to be there type of schedule. The other players are much more involved in the campaign than me, so when I'm there I often feel like I'm just sitting and listening, then participating in battles anyway. Occasionally I feel good about doing something creative and I always love the way my friend DMs, he's awesome and animated, it's great. So, how do I tell him I don't want to do this anymore without it hurting our friendship?

Background vs Foreground Saturation in Color Palettes for Games

I've been working on a game but started learning about color palettes a bit late.

I wanted to have more desaturated background colors, more saturated foregrounds, but I'm wondering if people would generally use a different color palette for backgrounds vs foregrounds, or do you just pick a level of saturation from the beginning and kind of stick with it?

Or would it make more sense to just desaturate your existing palette when using it for the background? I know it's likely just a creative decision to make but wondered what other people do so maybe you can inspire me or at least give me food for thought.

I'm Projecting An Image I Don't Like In My Videos - Should I Delete Them?

I made a lot of videos where I would do NOOB builds a PC or learns to build a shelf, and at the time I felt really good about it because I felt like I was being vulnerable and helping to inspire other people to try to learn how to do new things even if they feel stupid doing it.

What it turned into was gradually me just showing more tech, since that was the kind of thing I often happened to be learning about. I still had my building videos, but even what I was building was projecting an image of materialistic...ness.

Anyway part of me hates my videos for the reasons I explained, but when I look back at them I'm also really proud of them. I did a good job, occasionally got good views (like 30K to 40K) but the economy is shit and I know that buying shit was partly a way to try and make a cool Youtube channel and a studio I could use for my future... but also part of it is just coping with life, life is hard, buying stuff feels good. I don't want to be another channel out there encouraging people to own fancy tech that they probably don't need.

Should I delete the videos? Yay or nay?
