My cat just died I wanna ask
Hi! I'm new to this subreddit. My cat just died on July 2nd. Her name was Iris and she was 13 years old. She had been sick for several weeks, was hospitalized, came home, but relapsed a few days ago and died the day after we took her back to the vet, few minutes after we just arrived to see her. My family and I all thought she was getting better. The vets still don't know what happened to her and will conduct an autopsy as her case is so bizarre and uncommon. They are unable to understand her illness or what triggered it and do not even know what illness she had despite having asked several specialists. I feel a bit guilty because I sincerely thought she was getting better. What do you see?
