ET placements for next semester queries

Hello gang. I'll be sitting next sem (4-1) for placements, particularly in ET. As a result, I wanted to ask everyone who has been through the grind (and even others who have resources) to please share them here, as a lot of stuff is lwk scattered and finding it is a pain in the ass. The comments here could also act as an easy place to reference time and time again for others too. I'll see what resources I can find, and periodically update this post in the comments as well.

I also wanted to ask for advice regarding this.

My CGPA is above 9, but my prep is lacklustre. During SI time I ended up preparing for both ET and IT (ET to a much lesser extent) and ended up taking the first opportunity I could lay my hands on, which happens to be IT. Tbh my interest in ET FAR outweighs my interest in IT, so I have no intention of sitting for IT. Now, however, how would my IT SI impact my chances, considering I lost out on an opportunity to try for a research intern in ET.

Also, I know the general structure of studying for placements involves doing the courses I've done again, specifically ES, MuE for analog and DD, MuP (not much), ADVD and CompArch for digital, but this SI season, I've heard of them asking concepts from SaS and ConSys in the interviews too. So should I prepare essentially the entire 2nd year course list, or can I skip things in between. Also I'm in ECE, and should I prepare my 3rd year courses as well. I was planning on revising them anyway for this, but is there a need to go in depth into the subjects again?

My profile at the end of the day includes a good CG, PS-1 in a government ET lab, SI in an IT company, a few low level ass projects and the power of friendship. What more can I add to it over the summer aside from studying the course material to make sure I lock in during the season.

Oh, also, some companies have PS-2 lock right? Which ones are they? I know of Qualcomm and TI, but are there any besides them? Also, let's say I don't get placed. Will I be able to sit for PS-2 in these companies, or do they only take people who've been placed there before?

Finally, if nothing ends up working out, I plan to straight away go for masters. Is this a good idea lmao. How should I approach prep for masters? I want to do it abroad specifically, probably Germany because I've heard of a shit ton of scholarships, but I'm yet to actually do my research for it lol.
