America is a third world country in everything but wealth

Let’s put aside that a third world country was a Cold War term for a country not aligned with either NATO or the Warsaw Pact. The way this genius is using it he means impoverished countries (or developing ones) vs developed countries. One of the defining elements of this common usage of “third world” is wealth, which the US has an abundance of. Some of these usually Europeans or Canadians or Aussies writing this hilarious “America Third World” stuff have probably never even been to a “third world” country.
