Quick context: Cedric is the youngest son of a duke. Their kingdom is called Aeravon. His father sent him to deal with some vassals who've been holding back supply shipments. He is young and naive and took the mission lightly. During one night they were attacked while he was very drunk. He rides a Griffin (Silverwing) and thars are crystal stones with magic, a marthar controls water in all it's forms. :) 

I really appreciate everyone who takes the time to read my chapter, please let me know if I should change anything or if you have any feedback. I am not too confident on my prose and on the flow of the scenes but I hope it's somewhat ok :)
