Looking for advice for speaker upgrades

I just got a 2017 mazda3 sport (base trim, non Bose audio). I’m brand new to Mazda, this sub, and car audio upgrades in general. I’ve already upgraded the USB module to add CarPlay support so I’ve got a bit of experience pulling off trim and running wires. I’m thinking about upgrading the audio system, and after reading up, seem to have settled on starting with upgrading the front speakers and adding some sound deadening in the doors.

What I’m wondering is: Should I do coaxial speakers and just replace the door speakers, or do component speakers and replace the dashboard speakers with new tweeters as well? I’ve seen some conflicting info on what will sound best and where to start. Any advice is appreciated

My current NeverAlways vol 1 and 2 song rankings

Here’s my song rankings for the whole project. The middle stuff could end up swapping around a bit but this is pretty true to how I feel after listening to vol 1 and 2 a bunch this last week. The color code is:

Purple = probably in my top 5 ever TBC songs
Blue = not flawless but still some of their best music
Green = these songs are all really good and I will almost never skip them
Orange = these songs are also great but I don’t connect with them quite as much
Red = this is not a bad song, but I almost never listen to it
