Traded in a 2019 disastrous Nissan Versa for one of the hatches I’ve wanted since high school… finally got one and the new 2026’s drive like a dream…very clean leather interior too. Mazda focused on the engine n drivetrain I feel way more than the other hatches in its class. Already added the side sills and rear spoiler, going for the front air dam next 🔥Def more balls than the Civics, Corollas, and most other hatches with a 4cyl. Very happy it being my daily driver 👌🏼

Got my 19" Motec Ultralight MCR2 today. Now the car just NEEDS to be lowered 😁

Hi my new peers,

Never in my life did I thought I was going to be sitting in a Mazda. But after being stranded twice in a month ((1)my 2018 WRX STI engine seized (2)1993 Suzuki Swift overheated), I told myself I’m done buying used cars (I’ve bought and sold a bunch of others in between). So while my STI is getting an engine build, and my 30 y/o commuter finally gave out. I needed a new work commuter.

Out of all the dealerships I got numbers from for a Lease, Mazda gave me the best numbers and even took out 2k out of the MSRP for this Mazda 3 2.5 Premium MANUAL.

People around me say it’s small, but why get a $50-70K pick up when I have no use for that? To show off to people I don’t care about? It’s perfect for my needs, no kids, no pets, budget friendly, fits anywhere around town.

Anyways.

Finding a brand new car, 6 speed MANUAL (smooth AF), with simple but elegant interior, BOSE 12 Speaker System.
Not going to say I’m in love, but I’m deff impressed.

Will 100% buy it at the end of the lease and keep it.

Don’t really mind not having the Turbo since I’ll still have my 2018 STI after the engine gets built. But as a sunday driver, work commuter and groceries getter, 👨‍🍳👌 chefs kiss.

Really curious to hear everyone’s thought on this hidden gem.

anybody else think these seats are some of the most uncomfortable seats they’ve ever sat on. they feel like a rock lol.

First time seeing it in person and it’s gorgeous. The owner and I actually caught each other before leaving and had a nice chat.

(SOLVED) It was my glovebox damper

I just found it on my passenger side floor, not sure if I braked too hard and knocked this loose, it's not in the doors (I think), maybe underneath the dash near the glovebox?? Idk everything works normally. It's like a suction thing and it extends and retracts the arm thing.

I'm so confused what this is.

Rules are rules 💪 I’m usually the one to do this, but I was surprised to see one next to me for once!

I’ve been working on a driving app called Speedometer: Driving Tracker for a while, and it recently got approved for CarPlay in the Driving Task category.

That approval process is surprisingly strict - very limited UI, no custom buttons, and a strong focus on safety; so getting through it meant a lot.

The app originally started as a simple speedometer, but over time, I expanded it into something more like a driving companion. It tracks trips, shows analytics, and tries to make driving data more visual instead of just numbers.

Some things it currently supports:

• Trip tracking with detailed stats
• Route playback (including 3D-style views)
• Visual trip sharing
• Fuel, maintenance, and expense tracking
• Driving pattern insights and comparisons
• Video recording with speed + map overlays
• iCloud sync across devices and backup
• Privacy-focused (no ads or tracking)

The idea is to offer something beyond what most built-in dashboards show, while still working within CarPlay’s limitations.

Would love to hear any thoughts or feedback.

Just picked up a brand new 2025 Mazda3 Evolve SP hatchback in Jet Black and I’m looking for ideas for tasteful OEM+ mods.

I’m aiming for a clean, sporty look without going overboard or creating a maintenance headache.

Mods I’m considering:

- Window tint

- Ceramic coating

- Chrome delete

- Gloss black badges

- Smoked tail lights

- Front lip or subtle spoiler

If you had to rank these mods from most worthwhile to least worthwhile for improving the overall look of the car, how would you rank them?

Also, are there any other mods you’d recommend or any that you regret doing?

My Mazda makes a thudding noise somewhere either in the hood or under the car only when in reverse gear. Any ideas? I think it's my engine mounts potentially, taking it to a mechanic in the morning.

UPDATE: I checked under my car and there was a tab coming from inside the body. I slid it back in and the thumping is gone.

Have a 2025 2.0 Skyactiv-X 186hp Soul Red Crystal with black alloys and want to trade up again in 2027 for the 2.5 Skyactiv-G 140 hp as it is more punchy lower down the rev range.

However, I am TORN between these two choices of colours. What would you guys pick?
