I bought my 2016 in 2019 with 1,500 miles on it. I currently have 195,000 miles on it and it’s ran perfectly for all those miles. Then I realized the other day I’ve never replaced the plugs. So… I did them and the gaps on them were on the high side of spec but none were out. So if you haven’t it might be a good idea too.
In the early 90s or so I had a Losi XX buggy. I was 12 it was awesome. Then life slowly happened and I left the hobby. I’d like to get back into it. Is there a guide as to what to look for in modern RC cars? Have run times improved?
I’ve got this 86 Toyota with a 22r swapped to a Weber carb and stock everything else. Also the clutch fan is locked up to always be pulling air. Lately I’ve been having issues of it getting really hot when I’m pulling hills. It always cools back down once it levels off and never gets hot in stop and go traffic.
I was poking around and noticed a little coolant where the radiator meets the lower tank but it doesn’t drip any to the ground. So obviously it’s got a small leak. I also carefully opened the radiator cap and very little pressure was released.
I’ve put a couple different new thermostats in it with zero change.
My question is could a cap that isn’t holding pressure and/or the small leak the radiator has be causing it to get hot. I’m not knowledgeable enough to say that the lack of pressure also changes how hot it gets.
I’m curious if I did the correct maneuver. For reference the police is in blue I’m red and some tweaker women are yellow.
I was getting on the free way and was on pace to merge behind the stater. Then I think the cop and I saw the women walking on the free way at the same time as he turned his lights on and braking to go across the end of the on-ramp to speak to them. Now I could’ve of sped up slightly and gone between the women and the cop or brake and let him go in front of me. The road kind of curved so there wasn’t a lot of lead time for him to see them earlier so he had to slow from 60 quicker than a normal person probably would but still not an emergency stop.
I think if I had gone in between them it wouldn’t have been an unsafe maneuver but my instinct was to brake kinda hard and let him go in front. Was this the correct choice?
It’s definitely clogged. What’s the best course of action. I’m afraid to plunge it and push it into further into the pipes. Will it break down of the course of a day or two and be fine there’s no wax coating that I can tell? Should I remove the toilet and fish it out that way? Maybe get a toilet auger to smash it?
I saw this posted on Facebook for my towns local armed forces day parade and was curious if this is a 63 with a split window. I’m not to familiar with vetted to know if their are other ways of telling.
My 5 year old son was diagnosed 2 years ago and he’s had omnipod and dexcom CGMs pretty much since day 1. Why dont they make thier own CGM thus eliminating the need for two apps on the phone. I assume it’s money and contracts but maybe not.
As a kid my dad would always get me to do it but maybe we were strange as he was a truck/diesel mechanic as well. Do kids still do it? My 5 year old loves it.

I’m no welder or diver but I’ve heard people say underwater welding is hard on your body. How so aside from the added danger of decompression sickness and the whole drowning issues? It seems to me if it would be better for you lungs as you’re not breathing in anything but mix gases.
I was cleaning my garage the other day and stumbled across my old compactor and dock door keys from when I was a D93 DH 15 years ago. I was fired for some reasons that were pretty lame in my opinion and never gave them back. I was never asked for them. I don’t think they went through the proper channels when they gave them to me. They wouldn’t want them back would they?
They are pretty cool. If I could find one relatively rust free for a decent price I’d make one mine.
