My father knew this man and was invited to the funeral. He was a wealthy local businessman and apparently loved his Corvettes. I had to go along to see this. He also had provided food and an open bar. It is one way to go out!
According to the funeral director, his body was kept frozen in a seated position for about a month before the service so he could be displayed behind the wheel, as he had requested.

My son and I just got back from our trip to Sonoma from the Dallas area in my C7 Z51 M7. Had a blast and can’t wait for our next adventure!

Just picked up my first real performance vehicle, a 2013 Grand Sport, and I love this car a lot. Plenty of power, great sound system, and it’s clean all around. The only upgrade so far is the clear targa top, but I’m looking to do some other things. I want to go the OEM+ plus route, so what upgrades could I do that could make this already perfect car even better?
Hello everyone, I’m in the market for a car and I’ve debated a couple different options. I’ve been looking into a C7 recently and I’m wondering how many miles is too miles when buying a used one? I really don’t mind some general wear and tear but of course I want the car to be in working condition for awhile so I thought I’d come on here and ask if anyone would like to share their personal experience with these lovely cars, especially if they bought used.
I’ve heard generally what matters more than miles themselves is how the car was maintained and cared for so I’m definitely taking that into account when browsing but any baselines or advice would be appreciated a ton!

Got a c6 ls2 car normally runs between 200-220 degrees yesterday the low coolant light came on then after about 10 minutes of driving the temperature started rising to 230-240 but I noticed when I would come to a stop the temperature would start to drop and go back up once I started driving. I added coolant and the issue is still there any advice. I can hear the fan come on.
I’m thinking about trading in my 2022 c8 stingray z51 3lz and buying a 2024 z06 1lz, is it worth it?
I am looking at buying a car from an older lady she is asking 13K for the vehicle.
It has been sitting for a while it has 65,000 miles.
(she stopped driving it in the 90s only to car meets after that)
Upon driving the vehicle, I noticed the coolant reservoir was completely empty, and the water pump pulley is about to fall off (squeaking and vibrating bad)and leaking. Also, upon breaking, I found the pedal to be very spongy, and it pulls to the right when braking. When in the garage where she had it on carpet, there was both coolant and oil on the floor (looked like oil pan leaking aswell). And A/C does not work.
I understand that after sitting a while the seals give out, but do you think this will be a money pit and I should pass or is it okay for the price?
I also understand the reputation behind the “Cease-Fire Injection” and the issue that may come with that in the future.

I am really close to pulling the trigger on a new toy. Looking for a 427 either Black, White with the grey/silver stripes, Red Mist or NRB. I haven't bought an older car in years and I'm curios what you all think should be the priorities. A couple of them have already had the head issue fixed supposedly. They tend to be a little higher in mileage. I am already assuming I would need to get some work done if they haven't already addressed this. Would you shy away from a 50k mile car with the work done for a 25k that is stock? Anything I should be looking for specifically looking at these particular cars? Any advise from people more knowledgeable would be appreciated. I do already understand I'm probably gonna over pay, 50-70k is where I'm looking, but the heart wants what the heart wants.

I can’t for the love of god get the passenger side of the cradle to drop. I removed all 8 upper control arm bolts, ebcm bracket, 4 lower shock bolts, 2 lower motor mount nuts, loosened all 4 cradle nuts, removed front sway bar. What else am I missing?!
