1999 C5, 39k miles. Second oil change after BTR cam, 2k miles later. Good oil pressure, no knocking but this concerns me. What do yall think? Obviously it isn’t good but hoping for people who have cammed their LS to give me some feedback. Only 40k miles on the LS1
2017 Stingray with 6000 miles, one previous owner. If the previous owner is here, thank you so much for taking good care of her. I feel like I haven't stopped smiling since I got her. When I was searching online for a Corvette, I felt like I would care about getting something higher than a base trim. After getting in and driving it, I realized that doesn't mean a damn thing to me. I'm gonna get to enjoy basically the entirety of this thing's life, and I got what I think was a pretty good price on it as well.
I had to chase her down to get the pic! His daughter was driving him and she let me sit in it. HUGE steering wheel! I let him sit in mine too and showed him the new engine set up. (He had not seen one up close before)

Anyhoot just thought I’d share as I always loved the c2 gen and figured you guys might too.
I’ve had this car for about 6 months and I want it to be louder and have a better throttle response what do you guys recommend.
Long story short - after two months of waiting, this shop finally finished the BTR cam install on my c7 zo6. He took it to the tuner, and a cam alignment code popped up. Went back to his shop, and fixed the issue.
After taking it to the tuner a second time, now there’s a misfire in cylinder #5…so still no tune after another week of waiting.
At this point, I’m beyond losing patience and so pissed that there’s a third issue. It’s worth noting (and yes I’m an idiot) that I already paid in full weeks ago.
He said he’s going to fix the issue, but I don’t have confidence anymore…and I’m looking into a different shop.
I didn’t realize I was going to vent here, so thank you for listening. I really meant to get advice about the misfire and how to track it down while I wait to find a new shop.
I pulled the plug from #5 and that’s what I’ve found if it helps… Other plugs are perfect.

Weather was Mid. But the Racing was Excellent!
Bought a mishimoto trans cooler a few months ago and put it on with the lines it came with. Two times the hose in front of the radiator ripped because of the clamps. So I put a better clamp on and today I was driving and I was getting egged on to do a hit so I did. Next second I’m plooming smoke from behind me and there’s trans fluid dripping out and all over my engine bay. My cooler house literally imploded. I can’t imagine Mishimoto supplied hoses that can’t withstand however much pressure these lines are under but I’m assuming they did. So please recommend some stronger high pressure lines and fittings🙏🏼
