I've been hearing these are the best RC travelling bags. Just grabbed one for x2 1/8 buggies and gear.
Anyone have one and want to share feedback?
Hope this will eliminate me having to tote around 5 toolboxes and a duffel bag 🙏
After a while of playing I sometimes opened the gear compartment because the first is making weird noises in the car. Every time I open it the gear is dry and there are oil-plastic paste(shown in pic) covering the inner part of the case. I usually clean it and reapply grease when this happens.
Now, sometimes the plastic gear is not touching the pinion and the motor spin fast while the rest is doing nothing.
Could I reposition the motor so that the gears touch again or do I have to replace the entire thing.

Building the M-05L chassis was easy. Just take care of acquiring a full set of ball bearings first, take note of the supplied correction sheet for servo attachment, and choose your desired wheelbase configuration.
But the bodyshell was quite an undertaking. 7 different colors of Lexan paints: Black, purple, neon green, orange, with white as backing between each color change, silver as the final backing, and smoke for the window tint.
70 (!) stickers had to be carefully cut out from the supplied sticker sheet and meticuously applied on the body. Most of them went into defining the window gaskets, lights and grill. Inner light buckets (non-illuminated though), side mirrors and license plates had to be attached separately.
Finally, I applied some Neon Genesis Evangelion vinyl stickers for the Itasha look.
Driving the M-05L is fun! Quick, turns well and does reverse 180 turns on command.
These batteries are discontinued. Can anyone tell me what batteries would be the closest to being the same specs? I have minimal experience with lipo batteries, I’ve searched but cant find the exact specs. Looking for the best quality also. 6500 mah. 15.2v 130c
I just got new parts too!😫 I think its time to get a new car
I upgraded a Typhon MEGA 665 with a 4274 2000kv brushless motor, 4S battery, and a Amazon 35kg servo. The pinion is 15T 0.8 while the servo is only on 6V right now until I can program the ESC. Everything else is stock.
I'd like to keep the off-road tires but is there anything else I can do to maintain traction? I feel like the steering is also very twitchy and like it's always maxing out.
Someone said the Losi Micro T is a gateway drug, and i can confirm it😅.
Tried it yesterday and i absolutely love it, its brutal on 3s!!
I've decided I'm going to get back to it! I'm going to fix those rcs i need to fix, finish the projects I have planned, fix my 3d printer and lock in. I missed rcs and I decided I'm coming g back. And I'm not leaving until I do all the things I want to first. No quitting g until I'm done however long it takes. I'll post later in the right places my individual plans. But for now I'm back. Still have my d3 and my slash
This is the Redcat Ascent 18 Scout ii. I just changed out it's shocks yesterday to the INJORA 59mm Long Threaded Oil Shocks with 25wt oil and it's having extremely poor rebound. When I turn my RC while driving, it leans and then stay leaned.
It does this with and without all the acessories on the car.
Things that I have already done to troubleshoot:
- removed all the oil and refilled it + bleed out all the air
- tried new
softer and stiffer springs
- ran it without oil (still does the same thing without oil in the shocks)
- adjusted the preload to all types of heights
- ran it without all the top heavy acessories
- oiled the O-rings
- loosened the cap where the O-ring is
Any help or advice or criticism is appreciated. I'm desperate, please help!!
I got a legendary rc car. Its my first and I dont like how the two batteries I have for it will sometimes come out and drag while playing with it. I want to buy one batter for it so i dont have to worry about it coming out. But idk the math and all that can anyone help me and recommend the best battery for it? Also, I want one that hase a longer run time
Plus a couple all metal tanks.
Father son time bashing 🤟🏾🔥🔥🔥
The rubber bands obviously don’t work 🙄 the batteries come flying out whenever the cars hit a bump. Is there a way I can secure them so that they don’t come flying out but where I can still change them when needed? Do they make a replacement covers if anyone knows?
If it’s important, they’re from Walmart.
I don't have the money to afford a proper drift rc car so I modified my toy grade one (mines the pink and hot pink one the other is my brothers stock one) hoping to get a 3d printer so I can make my own custom chassis and steering to get some more angle lemme know what y'all think
Still mostly stock parts aside from wheels, shocks, drive shafts.
Track width is 1cm wider in the rear with 5-to-7mm hex adapters that have extra width, but I decided to make the front end narrower using direct adapters. The wheelbase is 1cm longer due to the rear 4-link but the ride height counters it.
