Well the time has come! For the past 10 months I've been shopping for a car. I've considered many different makes and models, and I settled on a Mazda 3! My daily driver, 2015 Chevy Cruze LTZ RS is getting up in mileage.  I have been lurking here for almost a year. Reading up on likes, dislikes and what to do.  Drove a few cars.  But found a 23 polymetal turbo PP modded the way I would want it!  After securing the loan,  he is mine!  So now I join the group hoping to learn the love of this car.

Took our bird to the car show today, 240+ cars, but as the showers showed up at noon, most left. Three OHC6 cars!!! Some nice Pontiacs there! Enjoy.

Today was an all Pontiac show. We took our 67 firebird OHC6. Another 67 firebird sprint OHC6 showed up. Originally silver like our bird. Lots of nice cars. Enjoy!

This week I finally got stuff cleaned and seasoned. I did up my daily user, the Wagner 8 woodie. Was getting in poor shape. Then the girlfriend found an unmarked 5 Wagner she wanted. I guess she didn't like when I would come home and she pulled another one of my collector pieces out and used it! And I was contacted by u/lizztwozee to attempt to restore her Griswold 10 small logo skillet. Already was planning on doing 2 skillets, why not another!! Looks pretty good. On to maybe more soon. Got a whole basement full to restore!!!

Today and yesterday was a great time in Crystal Lake Illinois car show. Unfortunately today, Sunday a storm came through and hurt attendance. But some great cars. We took our family 67 firebird OHC6 that my grandmother bought new. Won two awards. One, a top 50 award, and surprisingly the chairman's award!! I feel really blessed to be awarded them.

Out watching trains today and saw some boxcar graffiti that looked great. Hope you enjoy

My grandmother got me this gift card. Probably not much on it. But she has been gone for 16 years now.
