The beefiest server

For years, I worked as a DBA that had a handful of servers that would max out with 192 GB of ram on the main server with 12 cores and 128 gb of ram with 8 cores, all in a virtual environment.

But now, 2TB of ram, 32 cores, all phisical and plenty of them with many TB of data. In some ways, a more powerful server can mask issues

What percentage of drivers use a detector?

Whenever I'm out, I'm always checking checking other cars to see if they are using a radar detector. I'll get excited even when I see a cheapo detector pointed up in the air but even those are rare. One - two percent maybe?

In a previous post, I stated that I didn't need another notebook but...

From bottom up

Ayush X2

Tomoe River 68 GSM

Another Ayush. These are getting difficult to find.

Tomoe River 52 GSM X3 including the 1000 page beast

Tomoe River 68 GSM

Nuuna

Classic 360 air zequenz

Apica CDC 905

Yu-sari

Leuchtturm1917. I know I have more of these lying around

Life Nobel

Graphilo a strange one, not as smooth but still good paper.

All are fountain pen friendly with each having different characteristics

This was just the stash I have around my work station, I know of another stack near my downstairs laptop. Background is just the mess that I choose not to see with my flat cap collection and a carbon fiber bike wheel

I really didn't need this, already have a couple of TR notebooks that I haven't gotten around to. This is my daughter's fault, one year she researched what was the best paper for fountain pens and bought me my first Tomoe River 52 GSM notebooks. I have plenty of notebooks but my favorite paper is still Tomoe River.
