ThinkPad E14 disaster
I got a thinkpad E14 Ryzen 7 Gen 7 variant from the lenovo site (india) using discounts, student discount and coupon codes. I got the laptop within 3 days of ordering and the touchpad was faulty when it arrived. After escalating the issue with tech support they sent an engineer who came after 5 days and sealed the laptop and gave it back saying it will be replaced. Now 4 days from then they are mailing me saying only refund is allowed for sure purchased and it'll take up to 14 days.
I'm a student who really needs a laptop to replace mine which broke. And now not only do I not have a laptop I have to wait 2 weeks for a damn refund. They are refusing to do replacement and the prices of the laptop have also increased across sites and all offers have ended. What do I do in such a situation? Does anyone have any suggestions?
