My(F27) boyfriend (M27) wants to hide the relationship
As the header says, he wants to hide the relationship because his friends gave him an ultimatum of “us of her” and he’s not willing to chose. He didn’t want to lose anyone. All his friends have currently cut him off for a few days until he makes his decision. His friends have never met me, or really have talked to me, but whenever there’s an issue in our relationship he does run to them and immediately tells them, or if I screw something up, etc. if we play fight, he tells them I hit him, which he does clearly state he was joking, they took is serious. However since everything has been going on, they’ve been calling him, as well as me, disgusting things behind his back, pathetic, nasty, and then tore me down on my looks as well. I don’t think the situation is fair for him or I, but these people have painted an image of me based off what was told during our bad times and disagreement. I don’t think his friends should be so involved in our relationship. I don’t think they should’ve gave him an ultimatum. And it sucks he wanted to fake a break up so he could keep his friends and me, why would anyone want to remain friends with people like that? I don’t know what to do. I think it’ll work maybe for a couple months, but a person can only take so much…
