After a year of reports, I lost trust in SC2 moderation

For about a year I reported the same player in StarCraft II for constant insults, nationality-based hate speech, death wishes, and deliberate provocation in chat. Nothing happened.

I even created a Blizzard support ticket, described the situation in detail, attached screenshots, and tried to explain everything properly. The only response I received was that abusive behavior reports must be submitted through the in-game interface, after which the ticket itself was simply closed as resolved.

Later, I created a forum thread about the situation and separately raised the issue that this player somehow kept disappearing from my blacklist. But instead of discussing the actual problem, people replying were more interested in mocking me personally. At one point, a moderator explained that bans can be temporary or permanent. I replied that the in-game chat does not have “temporary” or “permanent” block options — there is only a standard block function. But he kept repeating the same point as if I was the one misunderstanding him.

During all this time, this player continued posting provocative messages without any consequences. And the problem is not even one toxic player — there are hundreds of people behaving this way. They openly insult others, post provocations, and wish death on people without facing consequences themselves.

At some point I responded emotionally because I became tired of reading endless amounts of this garbage and watching Blizzard support ignore what was happening.

And only after that did I receive punishment almost immediately.

At this point, I feel that SC2 moderation responds to these situations very inconsistently. People who spend months provoking conflicts and posting toxic messages continue chatting without consequences, while punishments are often given to those who eventually respond emotionally after prolonged provocation.

Has anyone else had a similar experience with SC2 moderation or support?
