I posted about this last week and a lot of folks were helpful in trying to track down thesee

The three samples that came were the following:

A) Maple Walnut Handscraped,
B) Engineered Acacia Dark Handscraped,
C) Engineered Hardwood - Myth Birch Collection

As you can see,none of them are quite a match, each more red-ish than the actual flooring.

It's a shot in the dark, but I was hoping some eagle-eyed folks, be able to get a better assessment of where to look next. *fingers crossed*

The alternative is to sand varnish, but the Satin Espresso we tried was way too shiny, and I haven't been able to find a matte finish that would work here....

This is a very remedial question -- and this might be impossible to track down -- but the floorboards of this place are in bad shape from years of usage. I love the dark wood and am trying to track down the exact replacement floorboard for a few spots that are very chipped.

A hired handyman previously suggested the best way to do this was to sand and polish the existing floor boards with varnish and left us with PIC #3 -- very visible glossy planks. And then ghosted us when we wanted to work out a solution.

Is there an eagle-eye'd expert who might be able to recognize these floorboards/planks? (I know this is a shot in the dark!)

This puppy's eyes seem to be smaller than the other ones in its litter. Is that a common thing? Might it affect its vision? Is there a visual test that can be given to lab pups, or is this simply a quirk of the little guy that should be acknowledged with a name like 'Glasses'?

I am simply be overthinking this!
