I am a reporter and have been following a missing persons case for almost a year. His girlfriend just received this text via email and I cant find any information on who it could be. There have been several people contacting saying they either know where Andrew is etc that were all scams.

The email is yekeenbasit10@icloud.com they say that Andrew is with them so we can stop looking.

Hi, I’m a new Shopify owner, I just started my small business for a month and got no sales. I recently got a few emails from different people, all from fiverr.
After some discussion they claimed they can bring healthy traffic into my store and increase my sales. They don’t charge anything upfront and will take 3% commission on the addition traffic made from their business strategy.
All of these sounds too good to be true, I know I need to give them some access to my Shopify account, other than that I’m not sure how the scam works? Or is it a real thing?
If anyone had experience I’m would love to know the catch here.

I've found a jacket that I've been wanting for ages as it's a piece of merch from a band I love, and it's listed for about 1/3 of the price I've seen it anywhere else.

After noticing the websites URL (cowar dot purship dot work) and the logo at the top of the page (hot cakes) don't match up, I went looking for more info to find out if it's legit.

I found some info on the domain via a Whois search, but I don't know what most of it means lmao.

Another red flag was that when I went to the checkout just to see how much shipping would be, I saw at the total "配送料無料オプション (配送料無料)", which translates to "Free Shipping Option (Free Shipping)". The registrant contact info I found says they're based in IL, USA.

I really want this jacket to be the real deal, and I'm pretty tempted to get it even if it is a knockoff, but I would love to hear other peoples thoughts on how sus it is first. Thank you!!

I bought a £9 belt off Depop and it still hasn’t arrived. It’s been 22 days, but on the seller’s profile they said it should take 4 days. They also have no refunds. First weird thing I noticed was when I bought the belt, they didn’t take it off immediately. I’m used to purchasing things and it immediately says: SOLD. Nope. It stayed up for few days. I think they’re a scammer but I’m not sure as this was my second order from website so maybe that’s a normal glitch? I raised an issue but I think theres nothing I can do. I noticed other recent bad reviews too. They’re in the UK and so am I, don’t see why it should take 22 days! Did I get scammed?

i received a text message from a random number (literally don’t recognize it, not even from an area code id consider) to which it just said “yo” followed by a rather large amount of money through apple cash. what the hell am i supposed to do about this lol

I’ve been talking to a guy named Franco Kyle for a while. He hasn’t asked for money or anything. We have had some meaningful conversations and he hasn’t asked sent me some pictures of himself. I’ve tried a reverse image search but nothing has come up saying it’s from a stolen account and they are always the same person. I don’t plan on sending him any money or anything I just want to know if he’s who he says he is

I saw this Tiktok video that had an ad where you can click on it to go to a website and I bought some clothes there today. This Tiktoker name is Angel Ruche Sales. Afterwards, I was on tiktok again and I found another Tiktoker called "Angel Ruche", which has a lot more followers than the first one. So I just want to know is the first one a scam?

I really want this top but am unsure if the website is legit. I would buy it on a more trustworthy site but I really like the look of the ribbed knit (I think that’s what it’s called) and can’t find it anywhere else. The closest I could find was a shop called Misisa but it was $70 so it’s higher than what I can spend.

I looked up the company name and they’re both slightly different, one uses Inc. and the other (job posting on Indeed) says Corporation. It’s a scam, right? Like I’m not going crazy? Also what job interview would require me to bring a SSN with me??

A friend in our friend group recently asked if anyone had a valid government ID (National ID, driver's license, passport, UMID, etc.). They said their wife works for GoTyme and needs to hit a sales quota.

The process they described was:

• We create a GoTyme account using our own ID. After creating the account, we're supposed to send them the username and password.
• They said they only need it to deposit some cash so it counts toward their spouse's sales.
• They also said they need the username and password in order to print the physical card.

This doesn't sit right with me because I've always been told never to share banking login credentials with anyone.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Is this a legitimate GoTyme sales/referral process, or does this sound like a scam? If anyone here works for GoTyme or has experience with their kiosks, I'd appreciate your insight.

This site has a lot of tools for Minecraft it has been advertised on reddit by the developer, However the world planner tool requires a .minecraft file for java worlds, Could this be used to steal minecraft accounts? There are some screenshots from people using it after the developer of it suggested it however there is no other videos and barely any info on it outside of the developers own.

After making a purchase at the the dream joint i had made the order but wasn't sure if I had done the cash app right, and so I had to write them asking about of they had received it yet, and all the messages up to the point of payment, I was getting good prompt replies.. and now since I was able to have the payment go thru and paid them , I haven't heard any thing back since and that was yesterday, they won't respond to me at all...

I even wrote this after not hearing back from them ....(Yes I know it's a long letter, so to this of you who are still here at the end of it,I appreciate u.)

Sorry to bother, just wanting  to know if a, u got my payment b, when u would have a tracking number for me and c, if I was m in Socal , how long on average it usually takes t ok get my parcel... See in 2024 I ordered from a different company and let me just say the product was... Of the highest quality... Amazing. So the beginning of 2025,I returned for more of the same kind but unfortunately when I received it there was definitely something wrong with the batch .I even changed all my processing equipment and everything else involved to make sure that it wasn't something that I had done wrong ,before I had gotten hold of the vendor... And sure enough ,after even having my man triple check the entire process and then going through the rest of it with me as we made the rest of it together neither of us could seem to find any reason why there is a problem with the product. So the company decided that they would send me $250 g of some Mexican root bark it may not have turned out green but it was absolutely terrible I still have the last 50 g of it in my drawer it was that bad it was like this horribly dirty and product that wasn't the right color at all it ruined all my textiles losing product in the process and he told me if I want to wait and I return to buy more of the first stuff that I like so much that he would either give me a discount or send me some extra bark for all the trouble because when I had gotten a hold of him about the first batch that was no good unfortunately due to tariffs and regulations at the time they couldn't get any of that stuff over in the US yet all they had was the Mexican bark I know why he sent me as much of it as he did it was complete trash I couldn't even use any of it was horrible... So I got a hold of him after I saw an update on their website very recently and wanted to order some and I inquired about what he had told me he would do if I was able to wait around and return to buy some once they could send it out here. And I got dicked around. So I wanted a refund cuz they're saying that they had to wait a few days because they weren't sure if they had gotten the shipment to the US yet and so I told him you know what I have waited over a year just to get my medicine from you guys and now that I paid you trying to tell me that now you're not sure I just don't I don't want anything from my store I just want a refund.. And after a FEW DAYS, Finally got issued a full refund. And after reading your reviews in reddit ,about how great of a store u are, decided to take my refund to you!:) so here we are. So if I seem like I'm bugging about anything it's just because I have not only been waiting soooooo long just to get some medicine but can't help but be a little gun shy .. since this is my first time here I maybe ultra sketched untill I have it in hand... So I apologize if I seem paranoid  it's just been one thing after another and when I refer to it as medicine... medicine my heart and head need. And have needed so the idea that once again I won't be able to end up with any of it...agsin

..also the refund I received was all the cash I have to spend on  this for a while. So I had one  shot and I just don't want to blow it. I'm sure u understand.

So recently on TikTok I came across an ad for Scuffers clothing that claimed there was an 80% discount on almost every item. I clicked the link and ended up on the scuffers-sale website.

I looked through the website and, sure enough, almost everything was discounted by around 80%. That immediately felt suspicious because those prices seem way too low for Scuffers. I tried to investigate a bit but couldn’t find many reviews or scam reports about the website itself.

the domain name looks like something that could be used to imitate a legitimate brand. Also the smaller pages on the website looked unproffesional.

So me and my girlfriend were on our way home to Brisbane from Canberra, and we stopped at the Chinderah service station to get some dinner.

Long story short, we were parked in the parking bays right outside the front door for about 20 minutes. I backed out, and started to drive towards the exit. As I was driving, I noticed a car slowly backing out from another parking space. It looked like they weren’t going to give way to me so I stopped and let them back out. Once he backed out he stopped, effectively blocking me. He got out of his car and walked towards me. I rolled my window down to see what he wanted, and he immediately became quite hostile and said the following:

“What is this ticket you put on my car saying I have an outstanding/unpaid fuel balance, what are you trying to accuse us of stealing petrol?”

He then pointed to his car, to which I saw his (I’m assuming girlfriend) in the passenger window holding up a “ticket” as he was saying this. (If it were a real ticket, why not bring it to me lol). My mind immediately went “scam”.

In true Aussie style, I very loudly went off at him and said “Wtf are you going on about, f**k off d*ck head!” among some other things.

As soon as I shut him down he immediately walked off and shook his head as if to say “whatever don’t worry about it” but as he walked away he said “I’ve got your licence plate details”.

I drove off and made it home, and now I’m writing this.

It’s very obvious this was an attempted scam, but I cannot for the life of me work out what the scam was supposed to be. Was he going to threaten to call the cops or something and just ask me for some cash as “a quick settlement to avoid any drama” ?
