Considering switching careers to nursing

Hi folks! I've been working as an occupational health advisor for about 3 years now. While I love my job, I've been thinking about switching to nursing for a while.

However, I do have one significant concern about doing this - I have a physical disability and use a stance-controlled knee ankle foot orthotic (KAFO) to mobilise. It has a microprocessor that essentially makes my leg walk for me, along with a mechanical knee joint.

Would this be likely to cause any issues with any medical equipment? Would being a visibly disabled nurse put patients off, or make them feel more assured?

I've also read so many stories about newly-qualified nurses struggling to find jobs. What is the current climate like?

I appreciate there are a few questions to answer here, but any info would be much appreciated!

I've been looking into body masculinisation surgery recently. I've had top surgery and very happy with my results (I'm nearly 18 months post-op, by the way)

I only seem to be seeing clinics that do lipo. Is that my only option? I mostly just want my hips, stomach and flanks doing, to create a more masculine shape...

Anyone know if lipo is my only option?
