(not my fan, but i have the same fan as the photo)
i got this pedestal fan from walmart about 2 years ago. it worked fine for like a year until it slowly lost power over the course of a day, and then wouldn’t move even on the highest setting. i took it apart and sprayed wd40 inside, that fixed it for about a month and then the issue persisted. this was early last fall.

today i figured id try it again and it worked perfectly for about an hour but the issue came back and now i am boiling in my room at 4 am.
please help.

TLDR my fan loses power then completely stops working. im so hot.
